Nasty Plot
Metal Sound
Flash Cannon
Make it Rain
Held Item: Shell Bell
The Primarina I went up against used everything but Psychic against me
Yeah this works only if Primarina keeps spamming sings, otherwise your need to use recover alot.
I didn't have Recover, just used one Cheer and some random Flash Cannons during the process to heal up a little

maxed out special defence + light screen and then nasty plots and flash cannons did the job quite easily for me

It does not work like this but the point is to not make damage and stay alive until 85% timer when primarina resets boss stats. After that get at least 2 metal sound before shield. You can die once and set up one conjure. With shell bell and flash cannon ypu heal enough. Go tera and it's done. Cheers.

PanFroGames made a Vaporeon solo build and I've used it since on like 10 raids and primarina had only used sing and I've defeated it all 10 times.
Doesn't work. You need Protect to avoid the reset of the ability. You also are often pelted with Sparkling Aria, you just got really lucky.
Gholdengo doesn't break the AI... I'm sorry to say but he pretty much got lucky because I watched the stream where he says this and I would go on to do exactly that with Gholdengo.
Instead of watching this thing spam Sing for most of the fight. It eventually just decided to keep spamming Sparkling Aria on me. Call me unlucky if I'm the only one that had that issue but pretty much. NO! Gholdengo does not break the AI of the Primarina. He just got lucky that the Primarina he fought was ultimately stupid!

When i battled mine, it rarely used sing. It kept doing sparkling aria, surf and moonblast to everyone
DK I was just about to build a Gholdengo and Iron Crown too lol
They fixed the raid, because I just got hit by Sparkling Aria about fifteen times. It was still an easy raid though.
How could they fix it if it just started
I think it's a little bit random. However, 80% of the attacks were Sing indeed
I think he should have tested this theory multiple times before making a video. I am almost always hit with Sparkling Aria over Sing (except with my ability is down), so you either need to heal or tactically die (as I do after finishing all of my Metal Sounds) to set up Nasty Plot and Flash Cannon.
Yeah. This worked like a charm several times for me during the first hours of the raid. I wake up this morning and I'm getting clobbered by Sparkling Aria.
I solo raid Primaria with a Gholdengo too :D
Goldengo was the first pokemon I was going to use when they announced it but I used Arceus for the solo
From what I’ve seen from raids with status moves in its main arsenal, I’m assuming it keeps spamming sing because most of the time it wants make sure you have status condition before it starts doing damage. If you were able to sleep it would put you to sleep then attack you until you awake and sing again. Every Overqwil raid does the same thing with Toxic, but so it can use Barb Barrage to get the double damage. The AI is only smart enough to not use a status move on immune types not immune abilities.
I got mine with Goldengo. Nasty Plot. Fash Cannon. Light Screen. (Make it Rain was there, but not used). Lost the first time, but 2nd worked..

I had my first raid happen like this.. then she got pissed I guess cuz she’s only been using sing once or twice a raid now
um, idk if i broke the raid or what but... my clodsire that i used months ago from a build you gave, doesnt take any damage at ALL... all she did was literally sing to me the whole time and (because of the ability) "healed me" the other 2 (good) players in the raid were doing the damage while i just mud slapped and acid sprayed (and heal cheered when they fell asleep) and we won (was the 2nd round because the first time a "shiny lucario" kept spamming psychic and killing itself)
For those struggling it always has a set action list
It will reset its own stats at 85% time left and 35% HP left, so make sure you hit it before those happen if you used Metal Sound. Also at 80% time left it will reset your stats. Best thing to do is just attack it until it resets its own stats the first time and resets your stats after. Once it’s done both those actions you have until 35% HP left to get kill it. My recommendation is get as many nasty plots first (Max.3) then go for the Metal Sounds(Max.3). After that just Terastalize (Steel or Stellar both work). Don’t do this online because the damage output from the ally NPCs is so minimal that you’ll be able to do all of this to perfection.
Also it starts using other moves if everyone else is asleep.

Gholdengo is immune to Sing, but a part of me wants to test Corviknight and be a gambling man when it comes to Sing due to it's low physical defense, or just fish for Arboliva support for Safeguard to protect me from sleep and Corviknight sets up it's own special bulk in peace with Light Screen.

max Atk & SpD, the rest into Def since 300 HP is all you objectively need from the high damage 7 stars like either Samurott, Delphox or Mewtwo
Light Screen, Iron Head, Bulk Up, Roost
It's Stellar, so it means no max pp for the damaging move since Corviknight has to swap between Iron Head & Drill Peck due to the power of it's dual typing.
I use Gholdengo with just using Nasty Plot 3 times and Flash Cannon 4 times. Done!
The strategy is not working for me. Primarina keeps using Sparkling Aria a lot and uses Sing less.

Maybe because you named it cheeze you were able to cheese this raid
Primarina only using sing reminds of the pokemon that try to use scary face to out speed you but failing because of the clear amulet .(P.S you didn't break the A.I it has to do that move in order to do other moves)
Gholdengo didn't work for me. Primarina uses Sparkling Aria and even hits Gholdengo through the Substiture.

You REALLY overstated how good this build is and how much the raid is "broken". Real helpful to get good rng and act like this is how its gonna be for everyone else. If you dont want to bother with the actual rng which is nothing like whats shown in this video then go with panfrogames vaporeon build instead.

I think Skeledirge might be somewhat helpful, mainly with its hidden soundproof ability, so it won’t be affected by sing or sparkling Aria. Psychic could still hurt but having Skedirge become a Dark Tera type makes it so it only can get hurt once, and that’s from surf.
Isn't unaware it's hidden ability?
Unless I'm missing something, Primarina has Moonblast which is super effective.
@@vuos Forgot about that. Then I think ghost will be better. Ghost takes normal damage from water, psychic and fairy moves. Just raise your special attack mainly with Torch Song, and have it hold a shell bell.

Actually that's not what's happening. If it is the turn where your stats were reset, then your ability turns off too.
I don’t know how goldengo fell to sleep if he have a ability good as gold still fell to sleep it not worth
The only time Good As Gold will not protect Gholdengo is the turn the raid boss resets your party buffs and negates your abilities for 1 turn. When Primarina does that and uses Sing, Gholdengo can fall asleep.

Right I was using mine and had wide lens item and it still missed with metal sound 6 times in a row.
