Make sure after u give ur battle form the item, u also do + and get off him once more before each dupe

To the people who say their legendary loses its item after the dupe, you need to ride it once it has the item for it to dupe properly.

@@MJ-oi6ul no people have been duping Pokémon and items since gen 2, pc storage glitch to clone Pokémon. Gen 3 and 4 just had stuff like gameshark and action replay to do it manually.

It’s Game Freak, they won’t patch it out. They will have their hands busy getting the DLCs out and maybe fixing the overall performance that every player is complaining about if even that.

@@lunchablespizza7035 They were just making a remake. This is Game Freak trying their hands at a brand-new open world game, and based on the performance and graphics alone you can tell the programmers were completely out of their league. This is going to be R/B/Y levels of glitches.
@@InternetPersons I just entirely disagree with that. From what we’ve seen so far, it’s not even remotely close to the bugs in bdsp. The only bugs we’ve found frl are area loading glitches and a few small exploits. The coding for bdsp was so unbelievably broken that you could break the entire game with just a few minutes of movement.
I kinda made a “raid funnel” idea. If you are spending time doing raids, before each raid put your mount in your party, then once raid is captured, do the exact same as above. reset mount for next raid. this way you are always guaranteed a raid mon, raid items, and your duplicate item (probably ability patch) after each raid.

Duplicating is a must, reminds me of good old times with Emerald.
Great glitch, however, something to note! This will, for some reason reset its attacks if you taught it new ones and resets the EVs if you have EV trained your legendary already. It also resets the XP bar to 0 of that level.

Doesn’t matter, duping expensive items and selling them to buy proteins etc makes up for it
I predict they're gonna attempt to patch the dupe glitches before even taking a look at the low framerate.

@@MAJ724 You can legitimately catch a second Koraidon and trade for a miraidon. Keep one of your Koraidon dupes for battling as to avoid having always to swap it between battle and ride form!

As far as I’m aware ability patches are the item that you can hold that sells for the most. $125,000 a piece. So duping that is probably the new fastest money guide and an easy way to get enough money for all the clothes and items you need
where you get ability patches? i only have ability capsules.

Isn’t it in the shop for 200K as well? While It does take a bit to get that money the process of selling each one for 125k definitely makes it worth it.

As of 27th November, it still works, but there's a few things to note; this should help make it easier to identify what's wrong.
If it states Miraidon/Koraidon can't be sent to a box, you're too slow.
If the captured Pokémon is being sent to the box, you're too fast.
If you haven't gotten the patch, it may be in your bag; it won't show on Miraidon/Koraidon.
If it is not in your bag either, you forgot to ride Miraidon/Koraidon again.
Battle Form>Capture>Send captured to team, send 'don to box>Ride> Battle Form, repeat.
Hope this helps. Thought it was patched too until I slowed down a bit 20 minutes in.

Yeah.
WARNING:
The duplicated pokemon cannot be traded. Once you put the pokemon in your party it will be stuck there until you glitch it back to the PC.

If you just press A on your riding form Miraidon/Koraidon it'll absorb the copy into itself and disappear from your party.

Pro-tip for anyone who accidentally added the duped legendary to your party that you now can't get rid of. Worry not! Just catch another pokemon and repeat the same exact A/B thing with the duped pokemon and it should go back to your box!

I suggest cloning big nuggets first so you have tons of money and also practice the key press
Ability Patch if you can get it is worth 125,000 when selling
Ultimate gamer play is to just duplicate the quick ball you use to catch the Pokemon to make this glitch work

Pro tip go back to the start of the game with ultra balls and you can speed up the process with guaranteed critical throws
Edit:it's guaranteed with every ball so just buy a bunch of regular PokeBalls and it will still be guaranteed
just get quick balls and if you have an ability patch from 6 star raids it's worth 125k. EZ money.

well it is kinda slow compared to duping 4 boxes of items but yeah it is not bad!
You can also just release your legendary like normal from your boxes. Nothing stops you.
You can also just release the extra koraidon/miraidon from the box if you havent moced it to your party yet, but once you do move it to your party thats when it says you cant release it

I would like to put out a disclaimer that the clone Koraidon started deleting out my actual party Pokémon when I tried to take it out of the box, it also wouldn’t let me put it back in the box and didn’t clone the item.
TL;DR: Save, and triple save. May not get desired results.
To get the cloned Pokemon out of your party if you accidentally put it back again: use the glitch again. If you aren't having your items cloned: make sure you have the item "snapshotted" by using the + button to go to riding form after you give your legendary an item to hold.
As we all expected. Patch 1.1.0 on December first has broken this glitch. We know where gamefreak's priorities are. And it's not optimization of frames.

I got Lazy, so i took out my 8bitdo Controller that have macro features, And record the whole process into 1 Button press, so that i just need to walk encounter Pokemon, Press 1 button, and the whole process is done, 100% success rate so far after doing it have have 5box full of pokemon from this method. haha, it made it so much easier.
And i also macro for mass releasing those catch and clone pokemon from my pokebox too into just 1 button press for each box.

PSA: Make sure you get rid of all your copied ride Pokemon! In the past, Game Freak has shown no mercy to people with cloned Pokemon, and have banned players from online play when detecting a clone. Items seem to always be fine, but Pokemon will usually do it.

Atleaste you don't have to completely restart if the A+B doesnt work the first time. I remember duping items on bdsp and that was a tedious process when compared to this
My Koraidon had a Choice Band on, I took it off and put on the Beast Ball. When I perform this glitch, my bag has 1 beast ball and if I ride koraidon to respawn him he is holding the choice band instead of the beast ball. Something I'm missing?

Seems like when I do it now, my miraidon gets duplicated, but the hold item does not.
EDIT: As someone pointed out, you must give the item for your ride pokemon to hold, and then RIDE them at least once before you try the glitch.
Turn off your auto update on switch before they fix this!
Just a heads up, if you put the dupe back in the party you will need to catch another pokemon or else it will be stuck in there

You'd be hard pressed to find any game with itemized resources that doesn't contain some form of duplication glitch. It's not just a pokemon issue, it goes across all of gaming.
Animal Crossing Horizons had the same clone glitch basically kinda yea

Did this get patched? I have cloned the pokemon multiple times but the item is not cloning
Edit: I figured out what the issue was, after you have given the item to your ride pokemon, press + twice and bring back your ride pokemon to your party, DO THIS BEFORE YOU DUPE, as it seems to be the trigger to "lock" the item on your ride pokemon. The dupe of the pokemon will work regardless but your ride pokemon wont any any item on it when its brought back to the party since no item was "locked", which will cause the item to not be duped!. Just remember to do this before you start and happy glitching!

Careful!!! The ride clone has a different O.T, it shows up that it was met in poco path. Works for duping items but I would highly suggest refraining from trading it.

you cant trade them anyways, and DO NOT put them in your party, there is no way to actually get them of the party.

@6:15 - he shows how to get rid of the extra ones since they’re all treated as the same Pokémon. Why would you go through the menu to release them individually when you just have to hit a single button press to remove the duplicates???
For some reason after put master ball to bag, my miraidom get duplicated but after i ride and put in battle stance my miraidon held power band and not masterball 🥲

After give your item to the legendary you must ride them first like blaines used on the video its not a mistake you must ride your legendary first held the item tthen starts catching pokemin

Duplicating stuff like masterballs went out with Nintendo allowing legendaries to respawn.
you said the game interprets the duplicates as one pokemon. what do you think would happen if you do this glitch, keep one copy of your koraidon for example in your box and then transfer it over to you pokemon home as soon as they implement that feature?
If you can’t get it to dupe the item. Put the item on the koraidon then ride it and put it back in your party then it should dupe the item too now

What type of ban are we looking at if they do ban you can’t find that anywhere. I noticed that if i do raids now sometimes it say’s communication error like some with my party pokemon then i do a other raid and its fine🤷🏻♂️

Note, make sure u remove the item from ur legendary before deleting the duplicates otherwise the item it holds is gone, this happened to me, idk if this was said in video or not

What's the best item to dupe for money? I've been duping choice items as they give 25k each. But maybe there's something better. Haven't gotten my hands into an ability patch yet, maybe they sell for more

The video says they’re treated as the same mon and are special so they can not be traded. so you’re gonna have to remove them with the method he shows

For some reason it’s not duplicating the item, does anyone know why? I did a test run with some pearl strings and it worked fine. Then when I got an ability patch and tried it again the Pokémon gets duped but the item doesn’t. Anyone else run into this ?

You can even catch that's second miraidon in the Area Zero at the very bottom.
Just an FYI, when home comes out don't do this because home flags get applied after transfer and it'll pick up on having two of the same home IDs and potentially trigger a ban/deletion.
Will it matter if its just in the boxes?
I have multiple clones in my home and never got banned so if you did it single player I think it's fine
