If a lot of people are heading to one place, then even if that place is safe from zombie, it automatically becomes the most dangerous hideout. The most scary part about zombie apocalypse is not zombies, but truly the conflict and disbelief amongst survivors that will continue to develop as resources run scarce.
Yep selfishness of people are always more terrifying then the zombies even when it doesnt SEEM so
alon wai I wouldn’t call it selfishness, I think it’s more like a chain of suspicion. If there are 2 survivors together, both of them will think like this
1. One day resources will run out, at that time will he shoot me dead to cut the usage? I should keep an eye out for any suspicious activity
2. The resources will one day run low, maybe I should shoot him dead, to cut usage?
3. No, that’s so cruel, we came all this way and survived, I can’t do that. I should just keep it cool.
4. If I keep it cool for a while, maybe one day he would realize statements 1 and 2.
5. If I try to communicate with him about this, he might doubt that I have realized statements 1, 2 and 4 and kill me, due to statement 1
6. Keeping it cool or trying to communicate will both result in me dying, there’s only one option left
Exactly. Honestly, any island far from big citites, quiet isolated, will do the job. Mont Saint Michel is a bad option for me because it's very close to the coast, it's famous (at least in France) so you can be sure a lot of people are going to think about it.
A random island will be far better.
The Earth it would only take an emp pulse or any other country side disaster and when all the trucks stop coming there'll be like difference to advise zombies
Never trust another human.
Lies, deceit, grief, all and more come from desperate humans
Man you forgot 2 crucial things about defending mont st michel.
1: this is one of the fastest tide in the world, as fast as a running horse.
2: the sand around mont st michel is moving sand, youll get stuck up to your knees if you move too much.
That makes it even better. Zombies even during low tide will get trapped in the sand and stuck, allowing you to pick them off from the walls with ease, or just wait for them to be washed away by high tide.

Zombie Plan:
Short Version: Armored gun car drives to dock, dock has boat, boat drives to island, island has everything you could ever need. EZ
Long Version:
Hop into my Humvee with an M134 Minigun on top, along with 1000 rounds of extra ammo, 285L (3 full tanks) of extra gas.
This rounds up to ~1000km of drivable distance and possibly can kill 500+ zombies.
If we drive 200km per day, we can get to a destination 1000km away in 5 days. For this, we load 5 days worth of food and water into the car, along with sleeping stuff.
The team consists of 3 guards and a driver. The guards and the driver take turns sleeping. 2 guards sleep when the driver and a guard watch for zombies. Then once their shift is over, they sleep while the 2 guards watch for zombies. If they see zombies, everyone gets buckled up and starts driving.
Sleeping is also done in the day.
When the 5 days is over, you'd probably be at your private dock already. There you have a fully-stocked catamaran for 4 people, for a week. (You can dock the car in the boat btw.) In this time you have probably reached our private island, with a fully-stocked saferoom for 12 people, for a year. This includes clothing, food, hygienic items, water, ammo, 6 AR-15's, repair kits, tools and cleaning stuff. The saferoom is in the basement of your zombiehouse, a 2-story (+ basement) house made semi-fireproof with 3 bedrooms, 4 toilets, a kitchen, large living room, showers, security room and a storage room. 2 Bedrooms have two bunk beds, the last one has a king-size double bed. In the kitchen there is everything you would find in a normal kitchen. Spices, cutlery, dishes, appliances, etc. (note there are 2 freezers stocked full) Electricity comes from a big array of solar panels on the southern side of the island. The living room has 2 couches, a coffee table, 2 TV's, both with a disk player. There are 100+ 720p movies at 30fps. The living room has many card and board games. The security room always has one guy watching the security cameras covering every inch of the island. Every room in the house has a fire extinguisher and "fire blanket" idk what its called.
On the island is also a 100sq. meter patch of land, ready for crops. A shed is also on the island, with all the gardening tools for sustainable gardening.
The island is 4km off the coast, enough to get to in 1-2 days. The island also has a room with one of those small cold-fusion nuclear plants, and a desalination plant.

Dude you got it wrong. If you really want to escape the zombie apocalypse, or like any disaster, just head to Australia. 90% of the time we just watch the world die around us. So come on over here! Unless you are infected, then shoo!
We know you'll be the first ones to close the airports.
Unless the outbreak happens in one of our major cities, then don't XD
What about zombies that come out of the grave In your country, lol?
User , *disappointed sigh* Why do people always assume zombies will come out of the grave? You need to put logic into thing like that (even though Australia itself isn’t logical) Like for example most bodies in coffins would of deteriorated by now, and if that didn’t happen already, getting out of the coffin and the kilos of dirt on top of it would be a harder challenge. Now you may say that what about new graves? Well, there are little screw type things that lock the coffin lid in place. So in your case, lol ;p
User *bigger disappointed sigh* A virus. It infects one person, they infect another, and so on. The virus spreads through bites and scratches, so how would they infect those under the ground. Next time you try to correct someone make sure you yourself can’t be corrected.

Hawaii would be fucked because from what I have heard there is not enough Food for it too be sustainable, and since zombies are a thing there won't be any new shipments coming by anytime soon, although minus the zombies its a pretty nice place
Yes, currently with ùore than one million in the island, they can't product enough food for everyone XD
In the case of a zombie apocalypse, I'm pretty sure that there will be a major depopulation, the problem will more be the fact there is one million of potential zombies in the island :p

The setting of this castle would actually be interesting for a zombie film/book adaption. Think about it: A suspenseful scene could take place when a group of survivors splits off to the mainland during low tide to scavenge resources, but once they came back, they see that it’s high tide once again because they miscalculated/misjudged the speed of the changing sea level.
(Ah, shit, now I have the urge to write a book or something…)

Hey, I'm French and from Normandy. It's really strange and surprising for me to see le Mont Saint-Michel in such a video, but it actually makes a lot of sense! Also, you forgot to mention a very specific phenomenon happening on the beach around the castle: there is quicksand almost everywhere, making standing still (or very slow) dangerous for two reasons. Either you get stuck with half of your body underground and need someone else to pull you out, either you drown because of the previous reason + the tide.
Greetings from Normandie, folks! :)

As long as we're going with uninhabited islands, Palmyra Atoll is a good bet, in my opinion. The island has some infrastructure, because of it's use as an airbase during the second world war, and has some small buildings you could live in. The island has been home to a few people over the years who wished to simply disappear off the face of the planet without ever being found, including at least one murder taking place on the island. The island has a reputation for being quite mysterious, though. People who have been shipwrecked on the island said they felt like something was watching them from the tress, and people on the island generally have feelings of paranoia and uneasiness. But compared to a death by zombies, I don't think it's too bad.
Infrasound is a very possible explanation for that.
alcatraz would be the best choice
Alaska would be best place to hide because its cold and snowy what slows down zombies very well plus it is mountined place and zombies would just freeze
Panzer Man Palmyra isn't a place where people go to get away from it all, it has a research station on it, operated by The Nature Conservancy. No mystery at all.

This guy Plague Inc.s
the biggest problem would be other survivors spotting this place and attacking it though because everyone knows humans are the main threat, not zombies 😳
Well except in an apocalyptic setting it's under the assumption that many governments almost entirely collapsed, and had their military overwhelmed (which is hard to see in the case of Walking Dead due to just how effective military assets would be). So assuming there's other survivors, they'd be unlikely to have any serious military grade equipment to actually overwhelm the castle's defenders. Historically a castle garrison could defend a castle in a siege situation with odds of 10 to 1, if not 100 to 1, granted in the medieval era there was nothing that could really break a castle's defenses easily, and bows and crossbows are harder to use than guns as far as ease of killing someone. Though this works both ways, the defenders can easily deal with any attacker by just shooting them, and due to their defensible position they'd need not worry about attracting zombies very much. In fact it'd likely be the opening strategy for the defenders, as the zombies wouldn't be able to scale the walls or bash down the gates, and thus would be a greater threat to the attackers who're outside trying to attack the castle. Sure you could try to sneak in during the night, but depending on the tide, you'd need a boat to reach the island, assuming the bridge was destroyed.
If the bridge wasn't destroyed, then it'd mean less incentive for attackers to cross the sandy beach that can very easily swallow you up to your knees if you're not careful. As such it'd mean the defenders would know the way they'd most likely approach. It'd also not harm the defensive nature of the castle island too much regardless as the zombies still can't scale the walls, so long as any entrances are blocked off it'd have much the same effect as before. Though it would make things a little more dangerous in general for defenders as they'd need to keep closer eyes on zombies during patrols and expeditions, it'd still be for the most part more dangerous for attackers who don't have these defenses. Now assuming you have the means to do a night raid able to sneak by the defenders via boat, and got onto the island and in the outer castle, it'd still depend on if and when you're spotted, cause castles generally have many levels of defense to them, with the inner part of the castle having more than the outer part. So it'd still be hard for attackers, still not impossible, cause yes humans are more dangerous in general than zombies (at least for the most part, depending on what lore we pick it may differ, such as left 4 dead or something else of that nature being very dangerous). And as such are always a concern, but still something that's able to be dealt with.
thats why i would rather go somwhere like iceland, oceania etc it would be a lot easier and you could just wait to zombies decomposse

Mont saint Michel is also probably the coolest place I’ve ever been. 10/10 would take refuge in zombie apocalypse.
I would go to Easter Island: It's isolated, low population, and self-sufficient. It has proved itself in the past to be the site of a great civilization despite being thousands of kilometers away from the nearest land. It has an airport (if the military wanted to bring people in) a ship port, and a town. Plus, lots of fertile land, and cliffs that prevent any zombies that wash up on shore to reach the population. If I were in this scenario, I would take my friends and family, hijack a cargo ship with lots of supplies, and take it to Easter Island.
If a zombie outbreak ever does happen I'll just head over to the Winchester, have a pint, and wait for it all to blow over.

Every house built after 2000 has a bomb shelter and the every road connecting to the country has a bomb planted on it so if an army or zombies try to invade, the bridge/roads can destroyed/blocked and they also have a lot of public shelters and each male citizen is ex-military and owns a weapon....
@@huzaifakhambhati8767 True, I am also aware of the Swiss security concept.
The explosive devices in the bridges and many points were removed 2-3 years ago (also because one did not want to pay the maintenance apparently) and in any case those which go to the German side, thus bridges which stand on both sides.
Of course, there are certainly still some that are somewhere and it will be secret, but still one has removed many.
But overall I find Switzerland actually in many scenarios not even so safe, even in the event of a nuclear war, for this lie too many German, French and Italian strategic points too close to Switzerland, depending on which bunker you are in you would of course be safe, but infrastructure, landscape, etc. would be either destroyed or contaminated for years, so that most agricultural land can not be used, the Swiss would have to move and gradually clean the soil.
In a zombie apocalopse are just also many zombies there that would move through the country and the supplies in such bunkers do not necessarily hold very long, with such a zombie stuff the global occurrence, some infected could also come into the bunkers and cause problems there.
Or a total of several weeks / months to live in the bunker will cause some problems.
But it also have many Swiss privately bunkers, for which it could run better.

Gah damnit Real Life Lore. Time to find a new hiding spot.
There ain't no way bro, I just visited this place a couple months ago and thought "this place would be pretty good in a zombie apocalypse." Now a couple months later I find that RLL has made a video on the exact location.
You can also visit Mont Saint Michel without zombies apocalypse!
not anymore because millions of people know about it now
Under my bed, they will never find me

I've actually been at Mont Saint Michel a couple of years ago.
Can confirm: no zombies there
I’m saving this video, just in case.
can you even be able to reach that place? its really far to me though

I live in northern England and I see no chance in hell at getting to it. Really any castle would do better than anything else.
I book marked this video, cause you never know.

Ekek Lele go to Antarctica its the only place on Earth and have a good Christmas
North Korea.
Bruh that's probably one of the worst places considering it borders China and South Korea (they have really high population so North Korea would just be overrun). It also borders Russia though it won't be as significant as SK or China.
I can almost guarantee that you won't die from zombies in North Korea, that, however, is because you will have already died from starvation
Eugene Cha nah fam, they hav landmines and 2 million trrops on the dmz
I feel like that might be where the outbreak starts.
Anyone in here had ever watch World War Z... Spoiler alert but yeah, basically there was this one North Korean guy that build a big fucking wall to prevent the zombies and let people from other countries to stay in it
" An attacking zombie army would PROBABLY be more stupid than a medieval English army."
that one word worry's me ''PROBABLY''
Prevention Method
1 - Just put down torches everywhere
Screw that, I’ll just stay inside my Toyota Corolla
nice one lmao
It's a good idea, but you're overlooking one thing: according to The Zombie Survival Guide, written by Max Brooks, zombies don't need to breathe. They can't drown. If there aren't too many, ocean currents may sweep them away and slow them down a little, but if there are enough of them, they can just climb on top of each other until they're over the water and the walls. If this Castle contains the only food for them, they will ALL eventually find it, and because they're stupid, never stop trying to get it.
Even so, it's still the best place to be. Just like a besieging army, dog-piling zombies at the base of the wall would only have a few hours to get into position to get over it, before the tide comes in to sweep them away or suck them down into the mud.
Realistically, inside the fortress would be *extremely* safe, but the idea of going out to graze sheep on the nearby pasture is ridiculous, because the area would be FULL of half-decayed zombies that got stuck in the silt and quicksand pools that fill that tidal flat outside the castle. So the immediate outside area would be SUPER hazardous, but inside I think you'd still be safe.
The safest place would be the moon XD
Edit: Yo thanks for the likes
IFY QuiiN yes lots of resources there
IFY QuiiN or Mars Elon Musk must be already there with a Testla Car0

A video for promoting a video game
Just go to the most dangerous room in the world: the elephant's foot will blow up the zombies' heads
Attach a piece of the elephant's foot to a 10 meter long pole, wear a heavily-insulated radiation-resistant suit with a helmet and SCBA, get up on a wall and start yelling to attract the hordes of zombies! Or, just get a rifle, suppressor, and some HP ammo and face no risk of lethal ionizing radiation exposure. ;)
KraZ it will blow up ur head too
What do you mean an elephants foot?
KraZ Even if you somehow survive being more than 20 feet from it, you'll die in days from cancer
Yeah, cuz you would totally have all that stuff around during a zombie apocalypse.
Having been to Mont St Michel, I agree that it's a strong fortification.
You neglected to mention that there are multiple levels, each sectioned off from each other that can be sealed off at numerous choke points.
The higher levels can also snipe away at the lower levels with impunity using bullets, arrows, rocks, or hot liquids.
It's almost as if the medieval builders knew exactly what they were doing, lol.
MANY (still existing) castles have similar well thought out defensive constructions, but this is indeed a good one.
I love how casual you say you could just blow the bridge up lol 😆 May be a little harder than you'd think
Eh, not really. A bit dynamite to one point and boom
Fruit500, Where would you get the dynamite from? Exactly.
+Its Kevin! Well maybe not dynamite, any explosive would do really. I'm sure you could find some kind of explosives nearby, or alternatively make your own. Or If you're a zombie maniac, you'd probably have them already.
Fruit500 The average person would not be able to make explosives or know where to even look for it especially in Europe or Asia. Even if you do know where to look for it, getting them would be another impossible task as it will be guarded due to it being valuable in an apocalyptic world. Even if you do somehow manage to get those explosives, the average person does not know how to arm an explosive, time the explosive, create a detonator, make it safe (not explode while handling it) and to set it up to systematically break down a long bridge nevertheless.
Or, just use a plasma cutter torch, cut some of the structural joints.
I feel like a place that conspicuous and only 1km from shore would be a huge magnet for other survivors who would would likely just blow up or scale your walls.
You can see them come from far away and shoot them before they make it. It takes 2 hours to travel the bay

Live in the cold north heres why:
1 there is snow which is hard to walk in which makes the zombies struggle even more than you.
2 Because of the cold you have more layers of clothing which makes it harder for the zombies to bite trough
3 Plenty of wildlife like deers to eat, pure drinking water from mountain streams or melt the snow to drink
4 The cold might also affect the zombies which is good
Just find a cabin and you can live out your days isolated from the world

@@coolboy5965 have you ever heard of black wanderers?
ooh, time to move there in case of a zombie apocalypse. i will. cya :)
So when a zombie outbreak happens i know not to go here cause already people will be there because of this video
think people would be friendly cause for Holding a huge place like this they will need mens to work here
captain kiddo! Bring yourself a commando squad and kick out any outsiders,
Considering the tide is extremely fast and that the sand is kinda like quicksand, this might be the second safest place, in my opinion, Hawaii would be the safest place, provided the outbreak didn't start in Hawaii, it has much more land and much more infrastructure, it's self sufficient and is right in the Pacific
ANYWHERE COLD. Zombies arent alive so their bodies wouldnt produce heat so if they wandered to a cold region they would essentially become statues frozen in place.
TRIassicFORCE151 like Anna from frozen
If that is the case, any area below body temperature(37 degrees) would be lethal. I like to think of zombies as being 'alive' in a biological sense, but having a lack of agency.
TRIassicFORCE151 I'm not even sure if they would be able to walk, since bacteria, viruses and other species are consuming their flesh and muscles (which are necessary for movement), since immune system is, at this point, destroyed. No organ or anything in the body would be able to function, which will lead to a complete failure of the system. In addition, human body needs heat in order to keep functioning, and since the organs are destroyed, there is nothing that can convert consumable items into the needed temperature. If a zombie were to be in a cold place, it won't be able to move at all, and would just collapse...
wrong zombies wouldnt even need any other organs then the brain and their cells wont contain water but instead this gray-black matter so above the snow line will be a shit show bcz they will freeze and attack again on spring
TRIassicFORCE151 (Russian accent) i heard Vorkuta is a nice place
Obviously my impenetrable obsidian & bedrock house is the safest place in the case of a zombie apocalypse
The entire United Kingdom would be safe assuming the out break started some place else.
OssomC2 implying they close borders fast enough
If you think in that way even Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Palau and any other island/with no land border countries will be safe. They just have to shut their airports and seaports. -_-
People still get in even without airports and seaports. Just look at illegal immigration anyone with a dingy can get to England from Europe.
Anthony Khodanian zombies can't get in a dingy and travel though
Slay Slay why would they
It's funny because Mont Saint Michel will be in The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon spin off.

One problem is zombies won’t drown like living people would. So they might wash in with the tide. Theoretically, you could patrol the walls and kill them as they appear, but if a herd were to hit the walls, especially if it were a large one, say in the thousands, there might be a problem.
Vaper Army this is not a video game we are talking about he said like the walking dead not Left 4 Dead
Vaper Army This isn't a video game though.
pretty sure herds existed in the walking dead as well as left 4 dead...
Your brain needs oxygen. Zombies have "the brain" as a weak spot so it is functional. If you cut that oxygen suply by drowning them, their brain should die, as so would them.
Not according to World War Z which this scenario is based off of.
