RB Leipzig's growth in their time in the Bundesliga has been impressive. With Julian Nagelsmann at the helm, Leipzig have signed one of the brightest tactical minds. Nice piece, this is the team to watch, flexible and innovative young coach, very young players with a lot of potential to grow and no egos in the team. Their best piece of business was to keep hold of Timo now he's firing on all cylinders, whats not to like.

Well he deserved it.Conceded only 29 goals(best defence) abd he had most clean sheets in league.Altough its shame that Orban is only 81 and Werner only 83(both downgraded from their winter upgrades)

Watched this after the Liverpool UCL match.. He's a brilliant coach... Just unlucky..i think they deserved to score some Goals against us.. Even topped us in possession... That was a Tough one... I just had to find our more about this guy and how he thinks. He'll surely win some silverware. Goodluck Leipzig.

At Bayern now he faces a challenge of relying on Lewy and Muller who are aging and maybe limited with the high pressing game that he likes
But so far so good for him at Bayern
I'm conflicted over Leipzig- I sort want them to do well because I like Nagelsman, Rangnik, their pressing style, many of their players and I want Bundesliga to be competitive but I also hate the fact that they are effectively an artificial, plastic creation that literally have no history and are only successful because they were bankrolled by Red Bull.
There are many clubs like that. Don't want to name them for fear of fanboys coming and attacking me
@@subodhadavadkar7158 few as plastic as Leipzig, at least City, PSG and Chelsea, for example had genuine history prior to their takeovers and most didn't rise 5 divisions in 7 years (I think that's right- it was something like that) like Leipzig did
I think RB Leipzig did the right thing. Take over from the 5th division club then they set their road to rise in Bundesliga. I have to say, RB Leipzig got my attention since 2016. What really interesting although the financial got from Red Bull, but they didn’t splashing cash on star players like Man City, PSG or Chelsea. But they took the financial advantage into training facilities & build the future. If they want to sell player, sell it on high price like Naby Keita to Liverpool...

RBL is karma to German football for their refusal to support East German teams after reunification. The old Oberliga sides had their infrastructure ripped out, and then were paid one time on entry. Meanwhile the big clubs pried their stars away and stripped their prospects. Then they clicked their tongues as they tumbled down the leagues.
It's hardly a surprise the only East German side to make a dent in the top flight is one that didn't have state sanction in the Oberliga.
And oh...Kaiser Franz told Red Bull to buy in...

Here as a United fan because the Daily Mail linked him to us. Would love to sign him as manager but for it to work he would need a lot of money to spend, full control over the squad and at least 3 years to implement his style fully.
The likes of Matic who are too old, slow and unwilling to learn, Phil Jones etc can’t be the squad that he inherits and is expected to do miracles with. In an ideal world I’d get rid of the Glazers, sack Woodward and get a competent DOF before getting a new manager but with present set up he at least has to be fully backed, financially and in terms of authority.

@birkaran gill if he can deal with team like Hoffenheim a mid table side with mid table players then surely he can deal with team like Arsenal. Bellerin, Holding, and Tierney will be back soon so... Arsenal still a top 6 side in England whether you like it or not, arguably have a better squad than Man United and Chelsea.
@Antonio Viera yeah i don't say really soon. Maybe after 2 seasons. I'm sure he wants to test himself at another league and of course PL offers you more than any league can offer. By far the best league in the world and Arsenal is one of the top 6 teams in that league. I think he suits Arsenal philosophy by sticking to young player and play attacking football.

They want to build new PSG/City lets see if they can continue this. The owner also owns Red Bull Salzbrug. Nice is also building mini P$G with billioner owner. Both can use around 100 $ million on transfers each year. Not bad. Hope either Dortmund or Leipzig win the title.
They haven't gone about the transfer market like financial take-over clubs like PSG, Man City, and Chelsea have. RB have some of the best scouts in world football and have signed and developed diamonds that have needed exactly what RB has provided to develop. Upamecano, Konate, Mukiele, Adams, and even Werner were all very young players with immense potential that big name clubs didn't act on, for whatever reason. The problem for these super clubs now is Leipzig are becoming a buying club and not a feeder team anymore, as their young stars are maturing. Players that were bought when Leipzig were in lower leagues have now developed into world class footballers. The next step was for Leipzig to get a world class coach and sign 1 or 2 big name stars. They've already done 1 of the 2

Chelsea Board should do everything in its power to buy out Nagelsman from his contract next season. With a huge transfer chest and some excellent young prospects on the books like Ampadu, CHO, Mount & Pulisic, Nagelsman can easily make Chelsea unstoppable. And since he is flexible in his approach, he is bound to be more welcomed at the club by both fans and board unlike Sarri.

To be honest, the only flaw I see in this plan is that fans wouldn't take Frank Lampard's sacking well and take it out on Nagelsman.
