I was thinking you were going to do an engine swap in the classic at first but I'm glad your not, the OEM plan sounds good it will look great when it's done. The Jag and RR sport project sounds good as well, at least you'll know the cab will come off the RR easy as you've just done it once already, I bet you felt like strangling your brother but I suppose he's give you some nice content now to work on:) Looking forward to the transplant video, it will be interesting to see the old engine coming out and doing the cambelts, diesel pump belt and oil pump. Guys I know that this is a dated video ie over 2 years old. I worked at ford motor company as an prototype engine builder in the Dagenham diesel centre where we built these engines. The engines where built originally for the Range Rover Jaguar and Peugeot vehicles. I have seen these 2.7 tdv6 come from the drawing room desk to design production and go onto the shop floor installation in vehicles. one of our tests was to stand a 50p on its end on the top of the jaguar engines when it was running they were so smooth. The engines were then developed into v8 where i left the area and took an adult apprentice course. Keep up the good work.
That jag engine sounds so smooth! I think it's the same 2.7 that was in my dads XJ. That was an amazing car and so powerful and smooth 👌. He did have it remapped too 😌

We own a 2013 Jaguar XJ Portfolio with the 3.0 diesel, and I have to say it is a lovely sounding and running engine, which has never missed a beat in the time I owned the car (2015) and returns an easy average of 42 mpg.
These are known for sludging Rob if the engine oil isn't changed regularly. It's worth whipping off the sump to check. Can't wait to see this finished.
Makes sense Rob to do a light resto on the old girl. Still be worth big money when done and makes sense getting it a very good example instead of a show car as people can then use it or put there own touch on it. Looking forward to the upcoming videos nice one.

We had an ‘07 S-Type 2.7d. Marvellous car and engine. Had it remapped to 240 HP, don’t recall the torque - but, it made it a monster but the EGR and DPF eventually failed. Keep these videos coming....Xmas sorted!
I think you should have your own salvage rebuilds tv series, at least there would be something worth watching . It's very very addictive watching your videos .keep up the stella work.

Created a monster rob.... the channel getting huge have to get a secretary just pressing the like button all day ... the key is keeping it real as soon as it feels like we're not in our mates garage and it gets glossy and polished that's when you'll lose us 👍

Wicked video mate! Your strats for the LSE are spot on. The Jag was a steal at a grand, and you can easily make that back by parting out the doors, interior parts, lights, trim and other bits. Sorting out the hydrolocked Discovery will be good content too. You will probably pass 60k Subscibers this week and I'm betting your channel will be up to the 100k benchmark before summer. You deserve this success!

Great news on the range rover ! I think taking your time it will be the best approach. Some pointers from my experience with old range rovers is since you are going through the suspension change the steering wheel shock absorber they tend to go bad and give the "death wobble" it's fairly inexpensive and as well. additionally have a look at the ride height sensors because they do go bad and turn the range rover in a bit of a low rider and lastly if your going through the brakes have a listen to the abs pump see how long it is running for the accumulator tends to go bad these and make the pump run longer and give mushy pedal feel. Keep up the good work !

Just check what's different closely on the jaguar engine. Normally lots on the oil side of things . Sump , pickup pipe . Maybe oil jets for the piston's . It's all too do with the angles 4x4's get into . Awsome channel. You'll always have huge following doing anything land rover so still with them 👍

Looking forward to seeing your progress with the Classic & Sport, Rimmer Brothers do have a parts catalogue for both cars can be a bit pricey but I use them for reference.part no’s etc. I run a disco 2 TD5 at present so I shop around for parts.
Get someone in the back to push the seat forwards with force as pushing the button at the same time, had the same issue on my p38 and it worked a treat as it frees things up
I use my RR Sport to go fishing as well - so better keep an eye out for those puddles! You guys sure have plenty of work to keep you going, good luck with all the projects!
salvage rebuilds uk well he deserves a proper kick up the arse for driving it in that far! One of my drivers took a new 7.5t into a ford that was 5ft high. Had to get divers in to undo the half shaft so it could be towed out! Sacked him for being such a twat...
