Probably not meta or super popular, or even "good" but my favorite exotic as of late on Void Titan is Second Chance. Extra Shield Throw + One Shots Barrier Champion Shields (and returns the melee) + Weaken. With Controlled Demolition it makes your shield throw incredibly strong, and keeps your uptime of Void Overshield up. This however requires a really high strength stat in order to be useful.

The best season to farm this was Splicer because the seasonal activity actually is focused on a rotating stat, for example discipline. That means you could use your ghost to focus another stat, and guarantee 2 spikes in the stat distribution you wanted.

Good video explaining armor stats, the refresher is nice. However, if you do the math, I think you need stat increasing fragments to get quad 100. With max stats, 10 point stat mods, masterwork and artifice we have: 3x legendary pieces at 93 total 1x exotic armor with 96 total 1x class item with 25 total That adds up to 400 possible stat points without fragments Taking into account that armor drops at least 2 in each stat, unfortunately it is NOT possible to get quad 100s with only stat decreasing fragments.
I might have misspoke in the video but i meant a quad 100 with 1 stat decreasing fragment. Which even with that i’m unsure of but yeah more then 1 and it’s definitely not possible
@@TheRealFerum Each stat with a fully master-worked armor set is at least 18 (4x4) + 2 from class item. This means your 2 undesired stats would be at least 36 total of the 400 possible stats, leaving 364 points for the 4 desired stats without fragments. This means you need a net of +40 from fragments to reach quad 100 if I did all that math right lol. So I think it’s possible if you have 6 fragments, 5 of which add 50 points with the other being the -10.
As a returning player, it baffles me that intellect is now practically worthless in PvE. I've been going for Res, Disc and Strength on my Titan since Consecration ability spam is pretty good right now on Prismatic.
I think he's specifically talking about farming the final boss checkpoint for double loot which is a common practice for the farm able dungeons (including pit of heresy)
Every single time it's awful, literally never gotten above like 65 from focusing, if I'm spending multiple engrams and ciphers or ascendant shards it shouldn't be able to roll a 61 with terrible distribution.

For instance, i have: Citan's with 2 resil Raspberry with 6 dis Wormhusk with 9 mob Getaway with 8 dis I've also had both ashen and armamentarium with 2 dis, and a promethium spur with 2 int

Nah, just that turning in engram for random exotic is kinda toxic bc of how many exotics there are so rng for being a good exotic and rng for stats. A bit better with the random roll of a specific expansions armor, and way better with hey have a golf ball I wanna nighthawk thanks. I wouldn’t spend ciphers at all on exotic armor that I already have in collections. You want to use ciphers on unlocking exotics you do not have or artifice sockets on your exotics that you do have.
Some exotic armor (for example star eater scales) will always roll with a minimum of 10 in a certain stat as if you had a ghost focusing mod for that stat - in this case, SES will always roll with at least 10 intellect. But focusing from rahool means that you can get distributions that don't follow this rule. You could instead get something like 4 int and 16 strength.

Bc I’ve been focusing from Rahool since TFS and I have had the extra 10 in those stats every single time without fail. For example I focused a Getaway artists and used resil armorer ghost mod and always had at least 10 discipline as I had previously heard that you can take advantage of the extra stats and use a different ghost mod to sort of get a pseudo ghost mod off of just the free +10 in X stat. But there’s other stuff like Peregrines I’d LOVE to not have a strength spike in that I always get one with.
