I personally wouldn't pick up some of the games you pick up. But I think it's good to see games that I normally wouldn't look at.
It's like scrolling through someone else's Netflix.

Been watching for a long time but never commented, but you hit the nail on the head in this one, at the end of the day, it's YOUR collection, the games are tailored to you, everyone's collection or genre of games they like is different, what the 'negative nancies' say is irrelevant!

I am a casual collector myself and pick up what I want to play as opposed to what is valuable or collectable. Keep picking up what you want to play. It's what makes collecting fun. For example, I have Assassin's Creed 3 on PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
I think that's what it should be out personally
If I remember correctly Nintendo puts three copies of the serial number on ds and 3ds.
the first is on the back.
second is in the software.
third is in the battery compartment. Hopefully I remember correctly as it will help you get a replacement.
You shouldn’t have to justify yourself or your collection or your choices.

Dude you buy whatever you want for your own personal enjoyment and ignore the dorks that think video game collecting has to be all AAA titles and expensive titles if looking at or playing 50p game makes you happy then thats 50p well spent unlike some of these dorks buying sealed graded mario bros 3 for 10grand and dont even play it makes no sense to me how these people can make comments in the first place my only comment to these muppets is stfu and leave people to do what makes them happy and jog on also have a nice day 👍 great vid as always dude keep up the good work

Just a little tip, the serial number for 3ds consoles are under the battery :) Back is easy enough to take off and can find the number by lifting up the battery
Yeah I used to have to write them down when I worked in Gamestation. My CEX require them to be on the back of the console to trade them in for some reason. Not sure about other stores. I guess they can't be bothered to open them up every time they trade one in

I've been binge watching your videos and the reason I love it so much because it's a unique video compared to other vuideo collecting videos.. I like that's a mix of games especially on the cheaper side rather than getting it just coz it's expensive or whatever everyone else likes
Collect what you want not everything is for everyone and play what you like this is a great collection and a smart way to build a collection
I usually bring all the 1p (like that rooms) games to cash generators they give 25p-1£ for each of them

You should grab Thor on the DS mate I played it recently and it's probably one of the best 2D adventure games I've ever played. I saw it on the shelf in that cex you went in only £3!

ignore the nay sayers i was getting laughed at for buying megadrive games out my local charity shops one of them was splatterhouse 3 for £6 just started watching your videos thing you go on a bit but you give good information and your way of trading seems sound i use cex myself for cetain stuff good for controlers ect good luck

Argos has some Switch games on offer at a lower price which may be what they trade in for at CEX but they sell them higher. Example; WarioWare £18.99, Rico @£7.49, Bayonetta 3 @£29.99, That need for speed game CEX are selling for 25, £16.99 at Argos, Monster Hunter Rise £21.99, Bravely Default 2 is £14.99, Candence of Hyrule £12.99, No More Heroes 3 is £16.99, Deadly Premonition 2 is £12.99, Chocobo GP £12.99 and some others. Even if you didn't enjoy them you would get about the same money back looking at CEX voucher trade in. KEEP UP THE VIDEOS, we live in a world where everyone is critical and you never can please everyone, these videos are worth the time.
Make sure the games are in the box. Argos sell a lot of codes for games.
@@steviecoyle all the ones I've mentioned are in box. I see that white download code label on some Switch games and think it's pointless. There's also those switch games that are a collection of 2 or 3 games but some of them have to be downloaded. I didn't get anything from Argos myself but they are decent prices with good value for trade ins should you finish the game or not get on with it.

Keep up the great videos. Love waiting for a new one to drop. I think though, in regards to reprinted covers I've read that people do steal the high value cases, or the cover is printed but the actual game is official behind the counter.
I picked up MTV Music Generator and Socom US Navy Seals, boxed with the headset, both for the PS2 for £7 in total at Doncaster Games Fair. Spent so many hours on both of them when I was younger.

Worth checking the eBay prices for Last Window on DS. I noticed a copy in your video. It's fairly rare and might be underpriced on CeX. A lot of the copies on eBay are European ones with the box art in another language.
Been watching your videos for a few weeks now, great content. I used to be a gaming TH-camr myself back in the day, don't do it now and I mainly collect for newer consoles. Love your videos on here.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the reason Resident Evil Mercenaries gets a fair few quid when sold as new is because of the game's save issue. It has a save lock - "progress is permanently saved to the cartridge, there is no way for a player who receives the game second-hand to start a new game from the beginning." So if you buy this used, you will have this issue. Just thought I would raise it with you. Not sure if Nintendo fixed this issue, but that was my reasoning for never buying it second hand.

Your collection is getting better by the day. Not a fan of handhelds since pokemon red on gameboy color however, that 3DS looks like a great addition to the collection.
That thundercats game is based on the reboot in 2012 I think , and the show was amazing , sadly only lasted one season

Great to see that you now have a Nintendo 3DS XL. If you like the 3D you should definitely try and get a New Nintendo 3DS XL or New Nintendo 3DS as the 3D is much improved where it tracks your face so that the 3D is much more stable. Also if you like Sonic games on the move then there is Sonic Classics Collection on the DS (compatible with 3DS) and Sonic Generations on the 3DS as well as Sega 3D Classics Collection which includes Sonic 1 in 3D. They are all really enjoyable games.

Killer deal on that 3DS. You play the games and collect the games you want in your collection, don't pay attention to the hate. One thing I will say, please don't get the Witcher 3 on the switch. It runs like a tractor. Play on the PS5 with the new update and fast loading.
Ahh see I've seen a few people say it runs alright. The only reason I stay away from bigger games like that is because I can't be dealing with bad frame rates. It's one of the reasons I can't play Surviving the Aftermath on the Switch. I'll take that onboard though. Thanks for the advice!

Some nice pick ups being a collector is something unique to every person what one mite love another might dispise but we shouldn't be hating on people for there choices or taste in my opinion if you don't have anything postive to contribute then your not going to get taken seriously everyone is open to a bit constructive criticism from time to time try & help the channel's positively with games that are good places where you know you can get good pick ups another nice episode I really enjoy watching your content I look forward to it every week keeping the ds was a good call & thunder cats looked good & you can't beat a bit nostalgic sonic have a smashing week look forward to the next episode #TVM

Great 3DS Pick Up.. I've Had My 3DS Since Launch Then Given to My Sister for a 3DS XL.. But At The 3DS Launch I Enjoyed Street Fighter for Some Hours Along with Nintendogs I Got At Launch Also.. I Would Like to Get a 2DS for Some Reason Not Only to Add to My Nintendo Collection But Also to Play My 3DS Games Again.. The Last Time I Played Was with a Friend Online to Play Smash Bros Because It Was The 2 or 3 Year The Nintendo Switch Was Out and He Was Playing on a 3DS.. The 3DS is Still Good Loved Taking It for Walks for Streetpassing But Nower Days I Like My Nintendo Switch More.. Let Alone The 3DS Store will Be Shutting Down Soon and See If You Can Get Some Digital Games Before It Goes.. Cash converters and those type of places are brilliant for consoles. I see so many in their well priced. I'm looking forward to getting more games on the DS. I've never played a Pokemon game on one so will be looking to pick one of those up soon. Good find that. I probably find about 3 games a month in charity shops these days haha

You can get serial numbers stickers online for all the DS models.CEX would never know.

You should never build a games collection on the expectation that one day it will be valuable because games are overall a very bad investment. Yes there are the exceptions that will always be expensive titles due to low print runs and all that.
Having a collection of games/movies/toys whatever should be at the end of the day a fun personal thing that you enjoy and it’s tailored to your tastes.
What annoys me is sealed collectors why buy games if there going to be sitting on your self for years gathering dust because your hoping one day that game might be worth something.

End of the day it’s your money your choice we all have different tastes. Personally I wouldn’t want Pokémon ( would get it from charity shop if cheap if cex are selling it for over £100 if would get a good deal with voucher)

I honestly stop what I'm doing to watch these. I just like watching people talk about things they like and enjoy, if every episode you picked up games you didn't like or feel enthused about just because they are 'collectable or valuable' then the series would loose its charm imo.
I understand the people who pick things up because they think it might be worth something in the future or because it's a staple of the console etc but I can't do that. I need to want to play it or it doesn't mean as much. Thanks for watching, genuinely means a lot

Thundercats HO mint pick up that its the remake they did of the 80s cartoon. I have every episode of thundercats they need make a movie I think its time with the movies we see today. keep the top videos up and pick up what you want.
