As a local to gameroom I would reccomend them to anyone. Never bought anything from their online store since I'm a 10 minute drive away but I've seen them doing their thing for the past 10+ years since I was a kid

I bought an original Nintendo with a few games for around $50 a decade ago. Back then they actually refurbished it. Said they replaced a common component that goes out in them- sorry I can't remember what they replaced. I tore it apart at home and it was spotless. There was fresh solder in spots. Local fiends say they still have the same quality.
I whould love A,V,G,N to review DKolides and make a video of the junk they sell and say is refurbished because the NERD knows what these game's should come as.

Nope, games might be priced good on that site but I just checked out 3ds consoles and as I suspected they are crazy high!!! I found a WAY better online store for consoles and the prices are far better than this. They are actually completely reasonably priced for an at least 12 year old console.
You have to keep in mind the amount of overhead that goes in to running a business. Not saying that I agree with some of their prices but I can definitely understand why.

@1234EMix. We actually built software to manage our storefront inventory and sync it with the website. At one point we had every game in the shop (3 shops) with exact photos online, while they were simultaneously being on the website. Unfortunately this didn’t play nice with google advertising, so we ended up with crappy stock photos for most items. But our sales went way up. Its gonna take us a year to build our own website to do both, but thats the plan…..

They are no better than dkoldies. The 360 Slim I bought didn't come with cords or a power supply like they told me I would, and the console had literal rust on the inside. It was caked with dirt inside an out. At the very least I hoped they'd wipe it down. I cleaned it myself it works fine now, but it's ridiculous that they didn't even do surface level cleaning. A dry paper towel would have made it look better.
I always buy from this store, I live in Lincoln, NE and we have a Game Room store here pretty good prices and they have a large selection of games and consoles, way better then the famous scam DK oldies lol.

saw this website, i ended up buying some rockband drums (80$ for the xbox 360 version) and a guitar hero controller (37$ for a ps2 version) , both are pretty damn clean, not that they opened the guitar, the guitar was kind of grimey inside, nothing a toothbrush with alcohol cant handle. the drums were worth the 80$ imo, pretty clean and works flawless, comes with sticks and the pedal. the guitar works as well, needed an adapter which i bought elsewhere (yes im using it for clone hero)
Compared some of the games with ones I’ve seen at my local retro game stores, and even with shipping the games share similar prices, normally just a few dollars more. I love this!
Definitely better than DKoldies, but they definitely have some stuff to work on. So many listings with no picture at all, and I did notice a few games that were absurdly priced. Most notable was a cart only copy of Pokemon Sapphire that looked like someone dug it out of the trash, and they're charging 33% more than what you can find on eBay in better condition. Just shop smart if you do go here.

There's no justification for it, and all it does is seek to further ruin the market for collectors and people wanting to play older games.

I live just south of Omaha and I’ve been going to that location for almost two decades now have gotten tons of great stuff there, Got GodHand on PS2 For $20 years and years ago from them
they seem okay but their prime time will be right now, since they will grow in popularity and get collections in to break down, but eventually they will take on too much inventory and have to pass off junk like DK Oldies, so the best time for this store, maybe not right now, the store has been picked kinda clean, but the general present, the next few months or years will be the golden age for this store. Im gonna save it. They are fair.
Just tried to get DKOldies to price match - They said... "We do, but only with ourselves. If you purchase something for $19.99 and it goes down in price to $14.99, we refund the difference". Oh boy, they're in big trouble. I hope all the other tech tubers catch wind of this store and blow them up!

They don't have Halo CE sadly but damn. Halo 2 (LIMITED EDITION mind you) for only 17$ and Morrowind with all DLCs for only 21$ is crazy low pricing for a CIB game. It will cost me a total of CAD 132$ and free shipping for 8 original xbox games I'm missing from my childhood. Not bad!
I landed a gorgeous CIB of Kuon for PS2 at the Grand Island location of Game Room! Granted I paid $850 for it but the grail of grails for PS2 doesn't come around often. As the saying goes : There is no place like Nebraska.

While this is miles better than DKOldies, can someone please explain why we still allow sellers to sell old games for $100+? Here in Australia, we got an Even cheaper stores other than DKOldies. We have CEX and Game traders. Game traders, Their Xbox 360 games are way Cheaper. but CEX, The Games are Literally $2.99 Way Cheaper than DKOldies. Like DOOM 3 is 8 Dollars and others are Bloody Expensive. Memory Cards are $2.50 and Others are 10. We loved these Stores better than DKOldies mate.
I'm a big BIG Silent hill fan and always have been. Collecting silent hill games is possible today as complete copies are still available which is good to know. Yet, for a person like me spending $200 or $300 dollars for that is still not possible, hopefully in future I will be able to buy them, hopefully they stay.

Im gonna save it. They are fair.

Sounds like if they could, they would increase the prices then charge you the difference after you already bought it.
i'll say the prices look good but unfortunately i was trying to order tony hawk american wasteland on xbox and the shipping was more expensive than the game itself
They don't have Halo CE sadly but damn. Halo 2 (LIMITED EDITION mind you) for only 17$ and Morrowind with all DLCs for only 21$ is crazy low pricing for a CIB game. It will cost me a total of CAD 132$ and free shipping for 8 original xbox games I'm missing from my childhood. Not bad!
I landed a gorgeous CIB of Kuon for PS2 at the Grand Island location of Game Room! Granted I paid $850 for it but the grail of grails for PS2 doesn't come around often. As the saying goes : There is no place like Nebraska.

While this is miles better than DKOldies, can someone please explain why we still allow sellers to sell old games for $100+? I understand that they're "complete" but that shouldn't mean a game that was released 20+ years ago should cost may more than it ever did when it was still on shelves in the same condition if not better.

We have CEX and Game traders.
Game traders, Their Xbox 360 games are way Cheaper. but CEX, The Games are Literally $2.99 Way Cheaper than DKOldies. Like DOOM 3 is 8 Dollars and others are Bloody Expensive. Memory Cards are $2.50 and Others are 10. We loved these Stores better than DKOldies mate.
I'm a big BIG Silent hill fan and always have been. Collecting silent hill games is possible today as complete copies are still available which is good to know. Yet, for a person like me spending $200 or $300 dollars for that is still not possible, hopefully in future I will be able to buy them, hopefully they stay.
Still find it hilarious how much more the GameCube releases are compared to the original Xbox versions. Gamers are absolutely mindless sometimes lmao.

Dunno if they're still around, but I remember finding a store called eStarland with kiiinda middle of the road prices. Not many crazy deals, but not too pricey. I remember their trade ins being REALLY good though, like, $60-ish for loose gamecube games.

I'm not even trying to be a troll, I wanted to watch your video but the way my audio was coming through on my Google phone the pan flute is so loud I can barely hear you. Suggest mixing lower music so it's actually in the background. Maybe I am an outlier but perhaps other people ran into this as well or it may sound fine on an iPhone ??
