Maybe they can get together on one of the more decent Tavern Brawls when it shows up, since they usually allow the use of new cards but Rarran is new to Tavern Brawls so it's a bit more fair since neither player will know what the optimized build is. This week's one would've been an interesting example, some crazy rules like that which will throw them both for a loop, basically makes every card 'new'.

This takes me back. Mage was the first hero I goldened (500 wins? 1k? I can't remember) back when GvG had just come out, and I was running a midrange deck that included, among other things, Unstable Portal. I'll never forget the time that at low ranks I was playing against a hunter that had played a Young Dragonhawk (1/1 windfury for 1) and loaded it the hell up with buffs. Turn 4 Unstable Portal into... Hemet Nesingwary, a usually-5 drop 6/3 or something terrible, with the battlecry of destroying target beast. In deck construction it's basically unplayable, but for that exact moment it was amaaaazing and basically won me the game on the spot.

hey rarran idk if youd be interested in this but i think i have a great idea: a charity tournament with HS streamers and content creators, however there is a twist: you actually BID on cards with real money (which then gets donated to charity) so lets say auction one is a ragnaros, that means only the person who wins the bid for ragnaros can put him in the deck, for all cards except legendaries you bid for two copies of it. some ideas could be that everyone can make a 20card deck with class cards and you only bid on neutral cards to get the deck full you could also make it so everyone has a budget (though that would kind of defeat the charity part imo) ofc they can ONLY use the cards they actually bought in case of the 'everyone starts with 20 class cards of their choice' idea you could auction the exact amount of cards needed for everyone to end up with 30 cards so people who have allready enough cards from the auction to have a 30 card deck are excluded from bidding meaning the last person to be left without 30 cards just gets the remaining cards but obviously you dont know which cards will be last so you might end up with super strong or super weak cards i think this would make for great content because the decks are gonna be super whacky because obviously youd auction select cards, strong legendaries, weird legendaries, BAD cards etc
36:45 - I was really confused when the Flamewaker didn't lose stealth after it dealt damage with its effect. So I looked it up and found out, that stealth was actually changed to only disappear after attacking. And that this change happened almost 5 years ago 🤯

Idk if this is a format I only recently started watching your content. But could do a format that you number each class and each person rolls dice for which classes they have to play as and each has to roll say 5 times for 5 games keeping any duplicates. When you get your class say you roll a 2 and that means mage you then roll again for which expansion or expansions (your choice for how many decks you get to build with) you get to build your deck out of. Rinse and repeat the 5 times

I was going to say Reynad would win but then Rarran did actually finally win a match. The thing about repeatedly playing matches against the same person with a variety of different decks is that you eventually start to learn what their decision making process is. I don't know who's winning this one but I am dead sure that Rarran has figured out most of Reynad's tricks and will win one of the next two if he doesn't win this one.
I feel like I'm losing but then he runs out of cards . This is the fel reaver experience, remember playing it in every deck. It always felt horrible but generally won you the game as well.
I really like content like this because it's the only time in recent memory reynad looks happy to be in front of a camera
