I bought it today in South Korea. It's looks much better than Master ultra thin moonphase for me. 😊
If I could own just one Rolex, this one would be just fine with me. Absolutely gorgeous and the exhibition case back makes taking it off as much fun as wearing it.

The bands need metal leaf engravings bradded to the leather on both sides. Kind of like the plumes from a coat of arms.

Will this actually be available to purchase at Rolex dealers? A little over a year ago I tried to buy a Rolex but no AD had anything but a few watches that no one wanted. Even at the main Tourneau in NYC there were no Rolex watches except for one Yachtmaster on a rubber strap. And they didn’t even offer to put me on a waiting list. Same at the Rolex store and two other ADs in Chicago, they were all out, no inventory. Will these go to aftermarket sellers like the sport models, where the only option is to pay the markup? Or do you travel to Dubai where it seems you can actually buy watches at the Rolex store?

Very attractive and versatile dress watch amazing movement gold chatons set jewels, gold winding rotor decorated Genève stripes etc. Why Silicon/Syloxi hair spring, especially on a retro style watch, is it such an important improvement your accuracy isn't stated better than the rest of the lines with the Parachrom Bleu hair springs? The loss of the clout as a true legacy maker takes a hit on that.

It makes perfect sense that Rolex did open casebacks on this lovely piece and the Daytona. If they were ever going to do display casebacks for the movements of theirs watches my first pick would be the Daytona, followed by the Sky-Dweller… and even better that it’s only available in platinum, as nobody today is beating around their Rolex Daytona, or really any Rolex model for that matter, especially not no platinum Rolex.
I'm not sure you can see anything on the day to as the automatic bridge hides the movement
