Yeah, there is harstem for toss, but there wasn't really anyone to make youtube videos with the quality and knowledge of harstem for the other races. This stuff is great, makes me so so so so so so much better at SC2.

This is such a strong build almost all the way up the ladder but in my experience it's especially strong in the lower leagues, gold and plat where I am. My mmr spiked immediately and I straight up kill maybe one out of four protoss.

14 overlord
@100% pool 3 lings pairs and queen leave with a drone at 1:06 if you get the hatch cancel the queen and expand if not attack the probe
2 more ling pairs if pylon block kill is asap and get the hatch before leaving with lings
execution: hit the most exposed building with lings and keep some on opposite side to attack zealots if they try to defend
vs 1 gate be aggressive and vs 2 gate dont let any lings die
This video is a clickbait, the title said it works below 6k MMR, but in the video it can also work above 6k MMR, lies!
that is assuming you can execute it well ... if you did not make a mistake at macro behind and have an awesome micro up front, you can be ahead of players above 6K MMR ....

Usually I got 2 hotkeys for queens. one for creep queens one for inject queens. with this oracle defense (having 2 queens at each base+creeping and injecting) i struggle with coordination and hotkeys. any tips?
You can also just move them reactively with the mouse in that case, but the queens after the first 6 minutes or so can become inject queens (the 3 from the main) and creep queens (the 3 from the 3rd) so it transitions very naturally into that hotkey setup for midgame. So maybe you can just try it for a week or so and see how it feels.

Whenever I do this, protoss is ahead about 4 workers right after the adept spawns and I'm hopelessly behind. My execution ist exactly as in the video and I'm constantly producing drones. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Welcome to the new ladder Protoss!
So, if I understand correctly, it works on pro-gamers because that messes-up with their normal build order, and small mistakes add up. On my level small mistakes also add-up... but you often make a huge mistake that multiply your whole advantage by zero.
Well it will mess up casual players much more than pro gamers, since pros have all played against 12pool hundreds of times. But having momentum on your side on a lowerlevel and dictating the game (not letting the opponent play the game he wanted to in the loading screen) is very valuable. 12Pool works on every level, arguably better on lower mmr because you can have more practice with it than your opponents against it, and because there's a big chance your opponent just dies aswell.

What do you think about making a proxy hatch at the protoss wall in a spot where you complete the full wall so you can target one of the buildings with your lings for free?
thats a fine strategy to try, it can work very well if the protoss doesn't know the correct response. However if he does, you are entirely dead whereas with the normal 12pool you are always about even in the worst case scenarios!

Its not about beating people in subscribers, its more about appealing to the game and increasing the chances of people playing it as it is a pretty old game. And harstem/neuro/lambo (just to name a few) are a couple of streamers/youtubers who are making good progress in this. Just dont put them up against eachother like you did in this comment cuz it is triggering thanks :)

Awesome stuff, i noticed you catagorized the vid on StarCraft and not Starcraft 2. Probably good to have it on sc2 for the algorithm. Other than that, if you notice you can kill the cyber if you commit for it, is it ever worth losing most/all of your zerglings over?
You shouldn't lose all your zerglings for it, since he then can still come across the map with double zealot double adept and you need to remake all of them. I think people overvalue the cybercore in this situation because toss can't start tech right away anyways it really just delays everything very slightly.

Hey I have been trying this and really like it. One question if you still check this channel, if the Protoss pulls like 10+ probes is it good to fight al kill probes and lose lings? Or should i just kite back and then go back to attacking the buildings? So far I have just amoved into the probes and still feel ahead but not sure if it is the best thing to do.
it depends on the exact fights, just probed vs lings is usually gonna be good for you? if its 10 probes + a zealot or two it would most likely be better to kite and try to waste as much mining time as possible

In diamond league you’d be surprised how many Protoss still go for some hidden tech or one base shenanigans.
bro I'm diamond 3 and they do cannon rush into void ray every game , I'm feeling frustrated, even when you win vs cannon rush it's not even fun because you feel like they handicapped themselves or something, sucks.

Great video! Still have question. Why zerg players have to hide overlords? Just looking for the reason of that as Ive never seen someone hidding it on ladder. Even though I play more than 6 years.
Because they can get you really good scouting information and with that you can have a tech advance response from what you opponent is doing. And if they catch you and you don't get the intel, then its 100 minerals down the drain and a possible supply block

you show up a 2:00 with zergs... with a canon waiting. build is done. not sure why GMs don't build canons, but this simply doesn't work in lower ranks. there will always be a canon
if there's a cannon there's no pressure from the toss for a very long time and you're ahead by default. That's why forge is not a response on high level unless they planned on going nexus first and don't have a gateway to begin with!
12 Pool actually is something many zergs play to counter forge first cannonrushers :)

I'm not understanding this at all.
SC2 LOTV feels like a Moba tower defense arcade mode game compared to Wings of Liberty and HOTS sc2 RTS game play. They killed the early game with 12 worker start less mineral gas per base and adding extra speed to every single unit in the game including overlords now. This is why everyone quit sc2 and most Korean sc2 pros went back to sc1, because sc2 lotv sucks, Blizzard killed the game and everyone quit. If they reverted the game back to Wings of Liberty people would come back and play it again. Wings of Liberty use have millions of players and it had more viewers than League of legends on Twitch. Everyone hates LOTV, besides some of the new people that don't know any better.
