Thanks for this. There's very little stuff that is about the Deccan to watch on the net. There's this huuuuge flat land but tilted towards the east that the train (from Delhi to Madras) passed through. It carries on for hours and it is probably in Tamil Nadu. I have passed that way twice, almost 2 decades ago and have always wondered its origins - absolutely flat but sloped.
Brilliant!! Nice visual guide to geological history and precambrian rocks of India. Do you have any recommended reading/s for visual understanding of rocks of Indian subcontinent? It will be great if you can share. Btw, nice background track too.. :)
i found this video very useful, and i want to use a bit of it in a video for my student. In France we are not allowed to teach in front of the student (due to the coronavirus disease), so i had to make video for them. Do you allow me to use less than one minute of your video ?

Hi, Interesting video. I would like to know if you personally shoot these videos? I'm working on an interesting project in aerospace industry. We are trying to find a place which is plain and flat terrain majorly in India. A place similar to Roswell, New Mexico but in India. Will be glad to have your response or a way to contact you
Please create more videos! I can't have enough of it. I love it!

Yeah, the Siberian flood basalt is more popular than the Deccan. I wonder why?
@@johnbagyan3244 true. This eruption played a role in extinction of dinosaurs. Even when I type deccan volcano eruption, all I get is Siberian traps.
