I don't think anyone could have expected this 'relationship' between Jinx and Silco, because we all have the ridiculous belief that when you are a child and you see a one-eyed drug lord and his goons try to kill your entire family, you would feel anger and a desire for revenge, not love, loyalty and a drive to piss on the graves of your family by helping their killers build a drug empire from your own home.
My theory is that she felt such an amount of guilt about the accident that she didn't truly acknowledge( at least for some months) his part in it, therefore must have thought " since he has done worse things than I, he won't judge me for it" and she probably feared Ekko having the same reaction as Vi and leaving her again.

The problem is that now she is so far gone and so dependent on him for some form of (extremely toxic) affection, that she can't run the risk of losing both him and Vi. Rebuilding her relationship with Vi would mean coming face-to-face with her trauma, staying with Silco would mean constant support, albeit at the cost of alienating everyone else who ever cared about her ('it's only us). Silco would give her the support she wants, Vi would give her the support she needs.
