When I listen to you, I feel like I am hearing my own thoughts. Thank you for the validation. It helps when people start shaming me for my own path.

I see others' inner and outer truth also! Now I know why. Because I saw it in myself doing the inner work, healing and embracing/remembering me. I'm now service to others all while having fun and enjoying these lovely beings. Its a beautiful manifestation. Thank you! 💫✨🌟💖

I once took for granted that I was taught at an early age that there is no proof of God’s existence. Even though I believed in God, I understood why not everyone did. Only recently did I discover that there is a large segment of Christians in America who don’t get it. They believe their religion is the one true religion and see no reason to question it.

Wow, so well stated! Per usual..
I also began my reconstruction journey based on a question ~ why would Jesus ((who lived a life of compassion, love, meekness, humility, graciousness, kindness.. and all the like)) why would he send people to hell just because of who they loved?
I am heterosexual, married with children~ but this was bigger than me. This condemnation appeared to be very different than the Jesus I had come to know and love. This question kicked off a character study between Moses and Jesus and the pattern was clear!
I saw the truth of man’s character when consumed by ego, pride, greed, pursuit of power and physical gratification and it was obvious that Jesus was free of all these things.
I now see Jesus as an example and not a sacrifice or savior..it is shocking to see all the people wearing a cross as a badge or getting their time cards stamped on Sunday but they fail to follow the example of the one they idolize; then condemn and judge others.
It seemed narcissistic and far from living out of love and light.
Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement! 🫶🏼💖✨

You are asking all the right questions! Keep going. Keep questioning. And stay curious! It will only expand your consciousness and enable you to see more of all the mystical truths you’ve been able to unpack on your journey. Thanks for sharing and watching❤️🙏

So what do you do with statements by Jesus that clearly define marriage as between one man and one woman? Those are his words. What do you do with those with your understanding?

Just because it's in your Bible does NOT make it Scripture.
Scripture is not a rule book, but a road map. The road map is outlined THROUGHOUT Bible literature.
You have been indoctrinated with so many rules, you cannot see the road map.

@@PreachingJesus I had to look beyond the words and instead focus on the character of Christ. Not everything written is the truth~especially when man wants control, and shares their own opinions or beliefs as ‘the right way’. I believe love covers everything! With that being said, it is a choice to live in darkness or light. I cannot believe that someone who is truly lovely from the inside out would be banished to eternal fire because they love someone they, “aren’t supposed to.”
There are plenty of, “Christians” who have dark intentions even if they appear normal and good.

@daodejing81 you don't get to pick and choose which parts of the teachings of Jesus you want to accept. So you'll accept the part that says the kingdom of God is within, but when the same Jesus says that marriage is between men and a woman he'll throw it out claiming corruption or something.

I have the same experience with Christianity. Circular reasoning never worked for me even as a child

Good morning, Logan. You know what? I never understood why so many Christians have a problem with those who asks questions, when the bible itself says, "If any man lacks wisdom, let him ASK of the Father....," and "We have not because we ASK not." It also says, "ASK, and you shall receive." So there's something terribly wrong with their level of thinking.

Logan, thanks for sharing. As a Biblical heretic, I have always been interested in questioning everything I believe, and I wasn't interested in paying attention to avoiding things you weren't supposed to ask. But what you said about religion is spot-on. There are questions you aren't supposed to ask, mostly because your religious leader doesn't have the answers. Good for you for refusing to go along with that! I am 100% behind believing what you have searched out for yourself, not just what you have been fed by supposed experts, who generally are just about supporting the system that is paying their salaries.
Since I am do have that "Biblical" part of being a Biblical heretic, I'd like to share with you why I believe the Bible is true. It is pretty silly to say "I know the Bible is true because it says so." Certainly the Bible makes many truth claims. I can only share the fact that I have been studying the Bible myself for over 35 years. I have studied it assiduously, patiently, and thoroughly (though there is still much work left to do), and I personally am convinced of its truthfulness and accuracy. I suppose the reason the religious people you questioned about this didn't say what I just said is that they hadn't done anything like that. They were attached to a religious system besides, and the Bible being a largely unorthodox book would have forced them to question things they didn't want to question. I could try to excuse them by saying they probably didn't really know how to study the Bible. But I started this studying when I was 15 years old. I didn't know how to do it either, but I didn't let that stop me. Thankfully, I had some good, heretical teachers who showed me how to do it, and led by example in being willing to pay the price to go against Christian orthodoxy. Granted, most of them were dead when I started studying, but their example was what led me to be the person I am today. At any rate, unlike many Christians, I have found that the Bible does invite questioning. It invites all to read, and as far as questions are concerned, its attitude is more like "bring it on!"
As for religious, I claim to be a religionless Christian. I know that is kind of a cliche now, with the teaching of Bonhoeffer popularizing the phrase. But I claim to be a Christian, yet one who has never been water baptized, never takes communion/the Lord's supper/eucharist, doesn't go to church (unless I'm invited to speak at one), doesn't believe in going to heaven when you die or torment in hell for the unbeliever, who has never been confirmed, and who generally doesn't perform any ritual acts whatsoever...I think I have earned the right to say I'm not religious. But I am deeply spiritual in following the God of the Bible, and that is the center of my life. Religion tires me. It has nothing to add to what I've gotten from a relationship with God I've developed through knowing Him by His revelation in the Bible. Well, I suppose I could make a few friends if I got involved in a religion. It does have that to offer.
At any rate, I just wanted to offer you my own experience. I agree completely that one should question and seek the truth for oneself. But I wanted to let you know that we Biblical heretics actually do that. There is an option in Christianity to be able to ask questions and seek real answers. Maybe not in the Christian religion, though.
Thanks again for sharing, and for questioning.
    Nathan
