I’m surprised you didn’t call it perks roulette and keep the series going I’ve missed these a lot
I could be wrong, but Monto, another DBD TH-camr (assuming he still makes DBD content) has a whole series named just that. That's probably why OhTofu didn't use that name, albeit I could be wrong on the reasoning.
One idea I've had with Insidious: add a touch of Dark Devotion to it. What I mean is rather than transfer your Terror Radius to an Obsession, you drop it wherever you activate Insidious and it stays there for however much time after the perk is triggered. Probably have it less time than Dark Devotion for balance's sake.
Always a treat when you see a Randomizer upload. Also love the new editing, even the small things like zooming in on the add ons have made videos even better.
2:14 Actually I think it's a little bit of a myth that you only get value out of Third Seal from slugging. In fact I've found you get a lot of value from it simply because it hard counters some of the most popular survivor perks in the game. Windows of Opportunity, for example, is the first or second most popular survivor perk (it's basically tied with Dead Hard), and perks like Kindred and such are also very popular, even with swf players. Third Seal completely counters all of them as long as it stays up.
So to me the fact it also hides hooks and dying survivor auras is just icing on the cake, the benefit I like is with one perk I'm cancelling multiple survivor perks basically every match.
It doesn't really counter them as you need to hit all the survivors for them all to be blinded and usually the perk dies before you hit everyone once.
@@Justmonika6969 I often hit all the survivors before the perk is gone, that’s simply not true. Also if you’re not hitting three or four survivors at least once fairly early in the match you are probably not doing well anyway.
Shhh! BHVR will hear tales of killer players getting good value from perks and endeavor to stop it.
Recently tried using a perk on plague that would've been terrible for her before the perk update: dark devotion
Now it's really great on her, especially if the obsession keeps cleansing, because instead of hitting them and then leaving to do something else, you can just vomit on them a little, and now you've got a time bomb of undetectable and panic

Loved this, that myers game was actually insane. On the topic of dying light tho, I feel it's a slowdown perk that needs to be occompanied by thano and then utilized by specific characters like plague or legion. I've been doing builds with it to try to see it's full potential, the one I like the most so far is devour, dying light, pentimento, and playing (or shattered hope for boon snuffs) been calling it "Abandon all Hope, Ye who Enter"
Enduring+Brutal is actually really good with Soldier's Puttee. I saw the perks and was thinking, "these suck if he doesn't get that 4.6 m/s addon."
Huntress Mori reminds me a lot of For Honor finishers, and honestly I'm down for it.

Please Don't stop making these randomizer builds. I just found your channel recently and am currently binging your DBD playlists.
Insidious is only good when you hide by a generator (mainly on indoor maps) that you know survivors are coming back to.

In reference to survivors that can run a killer really well: the vast majority of the time, even when I'm doing really well as the Killer, when I run into a survivor that is really fun to run with, I will legit commit a good portion of the match just to run them. The rest of the match if it's near match end and there's only a gen left. If I end up catching them, I let them go so they can run me again. When playing with another player like that is just so much fun, I can't help it. I always make a comment at the end in case they can see post chat, too, letting them know I only was doing it cause I enjoyed them running me. 😅 OH! I also usually end up letting any living survivors go if I end up doing this. 😁
I also feel like the shrouds should be swapped, but at the same time. Killers will bring it every game and survivors would bring theirs every game as they would be so good for both sides so they would never get value even when used

Been a Myers main for years without knowing that glass shard for EW1 was a thing, and I've been using the green mirror shard for quite some time now. That glass shard is such a terrible addon, wow. It has a time limit on its usage and it barely does anything when you do use it.
I just got new earbuds and oh mah gawd I’m singing for Tofu’s voice even more now.

Oh yea one of my friends that is a cracked high MMR Nurse main has said many times how the Shrouds are reversed. The killer does NOT want survivors to be separated, as they can pop 4 generators almost instantly while you are tryign to find just one of them... or the other way around the suvivors do NOT want to be all together because it's so easy for a killer like him to just bam bam bam bam 4 slug game over at 5 gens.
Imagine that first game would have been over 10 minutes ago if you would of not lost that chick at the start

Actually, I think Insidious may work better at tier 2, since because it's smaller, if it suddenly fades away people are more likely to assume you just left, and when they go to get in position again, you do the stab!
I use Insidious most games and get a lot of value out of it actually. I recommend using it at loops specifically like ones at the shack or ones that feel drawn out. I have a lot of survivors feel secure in thinking I left only to see a Deathslinger around the corner, it's situational but fun at times!
Insidious is fun if you camp a gen after kicking it you'll get some nice free grabs

10:06 Myers can't stalk if a survivor is too close to them I believe, I think that was their intent but it was not executed well
If Myers is stalking he is losing collision which lets the survivor clip into his model thus breaking line of sight but that is only a last resort attempt to survive because any halfway competent killer knows when they lose collision.

Side note: my favorite killer is Oni which sucks for me Mori wise because his animation just isnt synced up with the survivors so it looks like hes a bad wrestler that isnt selling his hits.

15:38 didnt they do a patch a while ago to get rid of reversals and made it so survivors shouldnt stun when the killer is on the same side of the pallet as them? It seems like since the patch before wesker this started happening to me a lot. Maybe I just respect pallets less than i used to so i didnt see it idk?

I don't think the entity can do anything to him. Michael is the incarnation of evil and I never thought that entity even took him to her realm. My theory is that the entity took Laurie and was surprised when The Shape crashed the party. So he is in same ballpark as Pinhead as he only appeared in the realm because the Lament Configuration somehow ended up in Entity's realm. Entity has little power over them but uses them because they are useful for her. Michael's addons point to that fact as he is the only killer who has addons that let him ignore the rules of the realm and kill directly.

Kinda sad how good macro play is unfun for both sides, being totally honest. For survivors it's spreading out and slamming gens separately, and for killers it's targeted tunneling/camping & locking down 3-gens. Sure, there's the matter of knowing how to spread pallet usage out for survivors & creating dead zones for killers, but either way the fundamental focus of macro play is a lot of things that the majority of players find boring.
