I can't stand the colour scheme but you can't please everyone ;). Thankyou to KTM though, rare to see such in-depth and quality discussion on design changes from any consumer vehicle manufacture let alone enduro bikes, really outstanding.
I purchased a 2024 500 EXC-F 6 Days. I did the first oil change over the weekend and the drain under the engine did not have the short screen - does this new design not have a short screen, or was this missing from the factory? And yes, I took off the right plug with the 13 head, not the screw.
I had a 125 EXC in 2001. Drove a lot of Enduro and a bit Motocross. But the WP suspension was hella out powered on a MX Track. After a jump it felt like you hit the ground with 50 tons
love the R&D engineers, a lot of new innovations, and very honest people, Apple could learn a thing or two here. Love what you did with the two-stroke technology, however, I believe there is more you can do like better oiling of the engine without extra smoke so the wear and tear would be much lower.

Very detailed and clear explanations of improvements, thanks. A lot of engineering work on engines and chassis. I wish I could fit the XACT fork on my 500excf. BUT how much price increase for all these omprovements ? XACT fork sells at €3000 !
I would wish a suspension setup like in the car industry where you have 3 or 4 modes after pushing a button. Like comfort, sport, sport +, race. That you could use your EXC also on MX tracks but at the same time for hard Enduro. Not everyone wants or can buy 2 ktm's
Ktm and other flavors need to ask more of their dealers. Out of 4 new bikes, KTM dealers ragged out 3 of them with swing arm, plastic scratches and metal etching from improper cleaners. My 23 xc had lots of scratches on the right upper fork, hidden under the poorly applied rectangle warning sticker. $650.00 just for the tube. Purchase new ktm and husky bikes from Colorado dealers, 22 and 23. My new 23 TBI 250xc runs dirty, not crisp at all. Been like this since day one, only put 5 hours on it before it fouled a plug and left me stranded in the rockies on single track. Bike is a pain, and has poor resale so I'm stuck with it or take a huge loss.
Ready To Race was actually Husaeberg's logo and they were better bikes than ktm in enduro just like husqavana just money was the issue but ktm bought them out ktm were definitely not the gurus for the that magical RFS engine

Plzzzz reduce your bikes seat height we have to purchase that stupid tvs apche and yamha Mt 15 because of height issue,plzzzz reduce seat height and make it to level so that even a person of height 165cm can make his feet touching the ground completely ....because it's India and Indians have short height work on it and your gone to rule every road
At the moment KTM is not very popular, because it has never won Champions, I really hope that Brad binder KTM will win the world in MotoGP like Pecco, but the binder still fails, we hope Pedro Acosta
All sounds great….except with this new subframe how will those that use EXC for some offroad travel. How can you support luggage loads? This is a real problem looking at this new spec.
You reckon the new subframe architecture could cause some issues? Looking at a 500 with a Mosko Moto 40L system for next year as I want to travel more lightweight.. not planning on packing heavy equipment.

They definitely put in the effort not to mention that you credit them for pushing 2-strokes
but in the end they drop oil through the exhaust. and its well known that ktm doesnt have the best mapping while using tpi or tbi.

Yes. Every exact part is the same. Ratio's are the same. This is for 6 enduro bikes. (250, 350 , 450, 500 four strokes and 250 and 300 2-strokes.)
