    You have amazing patterns. I have made so many of them and I've found it so easy to adjust the yarn weights and hooks to suit. Love the tutorials as well - you give very clear instructions

    Silly me thought all crocheters knew how to do this as I knew this for 48 years, was taught by the nuns at school. Good to see it being taught again! ❤️

    I absolutely love this and all gingham blankets but I have given up on them , I have tried numerous times and I just can't get my blankets to come out right and I just can't get past seeing the contrasting colors thru the stitches and just can't get carrying the yarn it's either Too tight or too loose , and I didn't give up easily I have attempted these blankets several times ... I do so enjoy your tutorials and your work is beautiful thank you for taking the time

    Hi !Tiffany! Your instructions are so clear and I just have to say I love your photography! So many sights are difficult to watch....not yours! I've been watching you for a year and now my daughter and daughter-in-law are crocheting too. I feel the joy in your voice when you speak of your daughter and know what a blessing being able to share our passion is! I just bought yarn for your gingham blanket and I will be adding this blanket to my project list. Thank you!

      Thank you Kathy! That is really kind of you to say. It's been quite a learning curve for me to learn how to record and explain what I'm doing so I really appreciate you commenting. (Just don't watch my earlier videos, lol!) And thank you for appreciating the photography. I love taking pictures of the blankets almost as much as making them! Sending you a warm internet hug!

    Another gorgeous pattern! I never knew you could have so many variations of the gingham blankets! Is your daughter shy? I’ve never seen her do a tutorial. Though I don’t blame her if she is! lol Thank her for me for doing a great job at designing! Now your Daughter in law is crocheting too? How wonderful! I’d love to have someone to crochet with! Thank you again for a great pattern and tutorial! Much love and prayers!

    I love all your patterns and your soothing voice. Does carrying the dropped colors along work make the item denser so it doesn't drape? I like the fact that you don't have weave in those loose ends. I didn't see a link for where to purchase that yarn.

    • @DaisyFarmCrafts
      @DaisyFarmCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your tension is too tight, then yes the extra bulk of the carried yarn makes the blanket not as draped. So definitely work a practice swatch. Also depends on the yarn you choose too, I've made the gingham blankets with all sorts of yarn types and I love working with 3 weight yarn. You hardly notice the carried yarn at all. Here's a link to 15 blankets I've made this way if you are curious: daisyfarmcrafts.com/15-free-crochet-gingham-blanket-patterns/

    • @DaisyFarmCrafts
      @DaisyFarmCrafts  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh dear! I hope she remembered to include that, I'll go check, but the blanket is approximately 30 inches by 30 inches. This would be so gorgeous as a throw!

    • @DaisyFarmCrafts

      Yes! I just personally don't like to carry yarn along using the DC stitch because I feel like it shows too much. But here is a link to 15 of our gingham blankets with all the different stitches I've used and you could apply them to this blanket design. daisyfarmcrafts.com/15-free-crochet-gingham-blanket-patterns/
