I didn't quite realize the size of your windows until your started tossing out bits of Christmas tree. The scale of big windows and small human is phenomenal. It looks like you could add another floor in those rooms on the ground floor.

A little ramp would be the safest way to go into and out of the shop, especially because you will be hauling tools. Your life will be so much easier having a dedicated shop and the door on the backside. Love you all. Enjoy your videos ❤

You really hit the jackpot with this property, all of the garages, sheds, barns and cottages are so beautifully designed and some filled with long lost treasures. You are such good people. The animals are very lucky to have you and your very big hearts. Your plan of organizing what goes where in the buildings will make your lives so much easier. An organized workshop for all your tools, work tables, saws, furniture projects, etc. will make your projects so much easier. A door from the walled garden into the building will also save you from having to walk around the buildings. Looking forward to seeing it all progress. xx

Donkeys (and horses) don’t need blanketing. They get their warmth from eating. The benefit of blanketing is to keep them dry (also not necessary, but helpful particularly for warm climate breeds like Arabians), in continually wet weather. If there is a shelter belt to protect from wind, if they have a way to get out of the weather, if they have a good supply of feed, and if they have a regular fresh and clean water source (only needing ice broken when it forms) they’ll be just dandy.
If the table did not have the detailing on the legs I would say it was Amish built. Certainly their scale and style. Thanks for your stewardship with those wandering kitties ❤️
Tree goes in the front door before festivities after festivities the window gets open and the tree goes flying.😂 Poor Lincoln always gets to dirty work of dumping the tree.❤ Amanda I appreciate you answering ridiculous peoples questions about your animals, but they should know you take better care of them than anybody else would. When I fly home he calls to ask questions and when he does he calls to check on them 😊❤️ Your eye for simple things is great! For a little over $50 you totally scored!! Those bowls are awesome!! And I would have snagged the table too! Love it!
So glad that Olive Clementine has you as her guardians. My dad used to say that there was a secret sign for stray cats on our house (Food, shelter, love, vet care forever..") We had many over the years. Had to chuckle over the "defenestration" of the tree. I did that one year from an upstairs window with a friend standing in front of the house as a "spotter". So much better than dragging a big tree through the house leaving needles in its wake.

It’s taken my husband, and me almost 5 years to aclimate to Mexico City. We are both almost 70 years old, lived most of our lives in the Midwest, USA, so moving here took a bit of getting used to. Love your brocante finds.

Funny watching the Christmas tree branches being thrown out the window. It is amazing to see just how big the windows are when Amanda was closing them. They are gorgeous.
Love the kitty names. I'd love to help but we do the same, take care of strays. I realized at some point it could not become endless so I was told to keep a family, as they are territorial, and it will help keep the population in control. (We've heated homes outside too.) It has but we are now trying to get a sad faced monkey boy neutered. His name is Hoss. He was seen once as my husband spends that time of trust building. He got his first shots and was treated for fleas, worms but we have more to do. He did, however, spring board off the chin of one of the techs and the hubby had to pry him off a top cabinet for home. He took off for a while but has returned. Time for the snip snip as he has seemingly forgiven us. You can tell he wants to be welcomed into the family. I think in time. They work it out. I get such a kick out of some of your shots. I know, the donkeys are fine. They warm my heart!

How I love those critters. The sweet little faces. I Buy pottery at thrift stores, farmers markets, yard sales. Seems like I’m the only one who wants it. Yay! Once it’s home and placed it’s stunning. Another thing I hunt for at yard sales, are Antique wooden bread and biscuit making bowels. Real stunners I have scrounged! Such fun!

Your vlogs are always so interesting because of all the variety of content you share. There’s just one thing I’d love to see and that’s you sharing some of your cheffing skills. So if you get bored and want to mix it up even more, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say there’s probably a whole bunch of us who would love to watch that too. Based on how good you are at everything else, I’m picking you’ve got a cook book that’s just percolating away and I’d buy it. Think how much that would help the animal rescue fund 😅. We don’t care what your kitchen looks like, it’s what you do in it right. Love your vlogs.
My husband used to have a white tr6. We went off in it after we got married and had a baby seat bolted behind the passenger seat. Many memories of that car, including when it broke down!
