Interesting comparison of KFO Merino and Sandnes Garn Sunday! I noticed similar differences. I found Sandnes Garn more splitty when knitting than the KFO Merino. KFO Merino seemed more rustic (but "rounder") when knitting, yet it softened up considerably after blocking. KFO Merino (in the colorway oatmeal) also bled quite a bit into the water. KFO Merino and Sandnes Garn Sunday are about the same price for me in the US, and I'm thinking I may choose KFO Merino more often if colorways aren't a factor.
Yes I found the Sunday a bit splitting too, and had a similar experience of the KFO heavy merino in bark bleeding a lot at the first wash! I think I’ll go more for KFO for tops from now on but Sunday will stay a great option for jumpers :)
Thanks for the shoutout! 😄 I maaaaay be done with my PhD Vest by the time I record my next episode!! Also I can't wait to see your second version in that gorgeous teal! Please don't feel rushed or like imposter syndrome though!! I think there's just a lot of people in this test group who are very speedy hahah Also also loving the green Moby!!

The cami looks sooo good. I bought the pattern immediately when it came out. Can't wait to find just the right yarn for it 😊
@@kristintamm502 thank you!! You’ll have a blast with your cami 🤩
I've heard that sometimes changing the type of needle used (metal vs wood vs plastic) can help correct row gauge while maintaining stitch gauge.
Ohhh good to know thank you!
