- Fellow politicians have stepped in in after Tory’s deputy chair for women was accused of making transphobic remarks about one of her general election rivals.
MP Rachel Maclean shared a post on X that described transgender woman Melissa Poulton as "a man who wears a wig and calls himself a 'proud lesbian'."

I came across this situation nearly 50 years ago when I first met this individual as a man then two years later met again as a woman. Quite honestly as a 50 year old ugly man with a teen age daughter he became a 52 year old ugly woman dressed as a bad impression of Margaret Thatcher.
