The corporations, on the other hand, are far worse; they deserve all of the criticism they get. Those shitty decisions we all hate are made in board rooms between people who have no clue what a video game really is and listen only to analysts who devise monetization schemes and projects returns. Developers overwhelmingly have no say on those decisions.
They are completely different. Also, Hassan is a fucking asshole, but he is nowhere near the example of developers everywhere. Don’t use him as a test case excuse to shit on people who just want to make video games.

Prior to this video, I forgot Blue Box and Hasan existed. After this video, I will resume forgetting about Blue Box and Hasan. They've made their mark on the industry and the consumer base has responded accordingly, despite their backpedaling and bluster.

You know, I was almost believing it and getting in on the hype, I had the app downloaded on PS5 for the interactive trial or teaser.. whatever it was called, but when they failed to release it and gave a load of excuses I deleted the app and moved on, forgot about it and now enjoy the Yong Yea updates every now and then when something happens.
Also, that app they promised like 2years ago still never happened which is laughable.
Most fanfiction writers have more respect for the creators and works that they're engaging with than this guy clearly has for Kohima and his.
I am so hyped for Abandoned. I feel this game will really live up to its title.

If Abandoned is released and that’s a BIG IF, it will fail and Hassan is the kind of person that would blame everything and everyone else for it’s failure.
He's a con artist. Of course he fucking would. But a release day will never come, so Hassan can spout whatever nonsense he wants until people completely forget about him, his studio and this 'game'.

It seems like "Abandoned: Realtime Experience" is actually a real-time of Kahraman abandoning his project.
Kojima should have said this the minute the rumours and lies got major coverage. In 2 years, they’ve snowballed into a situation he could have largely solved with very, very firm denials upfront. Silence until now was not an answer.

Hasan really dropped the ball. He had this crazy hype train with all of the coverage. If they released their "prologue" and it was good, that could have worked really well for them. Now negative press and not even a hint of what the game is, let alone any gameplay, is going to kill it before it launches.

Why is no one bringing up Sony's involvement in this? Wasn't this game originally shown off at some PlayStation showcase? How did this guy/studio get a spot during a presentation from a major company like Sony? Do they not vet the developers and their games before letting them show it to millions? If Sony didn't spotlight this game, we probably wouldn't be talking about it.
This is an alleged scam which for some reason was allowed by Sony, on the back of their platform. Why is nobody demanding answered from Sony? They're the one who gave a platform and are the ones engaging their business with who appears to be a scammer. No official response from Sony to this day. They're the ones allowing him to continue to mess up with the fans. The article ended with " A representative of PlayStation did not respond for comment" - Why would they refuse to address the situation??

My only question is how did Abandoned even make its way to the PlayStation store? with a downloadable application etc, news feed etc, surely PS isn't just allowing every and anybody onto their platform? PS must have seen the full project and agreed and were happy with it

Blue box just sounds like that one gaming studio where they come up for an idea of a new game, work on it for a little bit, then when they run into an issue they immediately stop to do something else. The game gets cancelled, and the cycle repeats.

I think what Hideo meant was the whole creating a studio, a head of the studio and having interviews with the fake person, etc. With Silent Hills they just released it as a demo by an indie studio, and then when beating it would show it was Silent Hill, but he didn't do the whole fake interviews and such. Was a much smaller thing.
At this point, we will actually get new real Silent Hill games before Abandoned will even start development lol

I think at this point we should be honest and state that his name is an Alia’s when referring to him which for the fanning of the flames of a very much Kohima narrative which he was fully behind as creator.
Fitting that the game’s name is called Abandoned because of all of this stuff that’s going on.
I thought it was common knowledge over a year ago that he himself said he wanted abandoned to seem like a Silent Hills thing and was essentially just scamming everyone. How is this news?
