They cut it off before it really got interesting. That scene scene was a perfect example of what it feel like when you realize you've been emotionally manipulated by a psychopath. Both of them did an excellent job here. Menzies almost does too good of a job, you can really feel that character in your skin by the end.
I love all of Tobias Menzies' scenes in Outlander but this one made me laugh a lot, the way he dusts himself off by kicking his boots is hilarious😂
