Super Mario Odyssey doesn't have actual Power-Ups, however, a lot of people consider the capture mechanic as such. As a compromise for that, we decided to include one capture scene in the video and to give the rest of the capture "power-ups" their own, separate video, that will come out later.

The Fire Flower, Cape Feather, Super Bell, and Super Leaf/Tanooki Suit are the best powerups because of the versatility they provide.

Wait a second. Super mario 2, had 2 power ups. Two power ups, is 3 words. 3 is the number a triangle has. Triangle, the submit button on iOS comments is a blue triangle, blue, sonic is blue. Sonic. There is 1 i in sonic, there are 3 characters in sonic mania. Sonic mania has 2 i’s. 1 + 2 = 3. There are 3 triangles in the triforce. The triforce is a triangle, and links hat is green. AquaDronix Depends on where the Mega Mushroom is used.
If it’s in that brick block stage, don’t even think about ground-ponding.
The ice stage had a safe spot near that spring launcher thingy, so Mega is ok...
The SMB W1-1 stage had no safe spots, so best place to use it
The Mega DESTROYS the pipe stage, except you can avoid your opponent by going in the pipes at either side
I don’t think you can get a Mega in the roof-collapsing stage

Super mario maker:(exclusive powerups only)
mega mushroom(SMB):makes you 2x2 size and lets you destroy like a normal MM, but jumping on a block destroys that block. you lose it by taking damage, so you are not invulnerable
mystery mushroom(SMB): you turn into a different character and you are 1x1 not 2x2, otherwise same as super mushroom
super mario run:
super mushroom: same as usual
super star: same as usual, but also attracts coins(including pink, rainbow, purple, and black coins)

Super Mushroom
The one and only mushroom that is very super! Don’t get hit, or you’ll become small again!
Side affects: Makes you more big than usual, and allowing you to break brick blocks.
Fire Flower
A flower filled with fire! You’ll have loads of fun setting enemies on fire!
Side Effects: you have the ability to throw fireballs, although, the DNA might turn into fire DNA. Causing some problems.
Super Star
A star that’s Super! Just walk right into someone and then they are KO’d!
Side Effects: Makes you invincible for a couple of seconds.

Super Leaf
Just a leaf, but a super one!
Side Effects: You can fly a little bit, no other side effects.
Frog Suit
A frog suit…what did you expect?
Side Effects: no side effects, exept for the fact you can swim much more faster.
Hammer Suit
A hammer suit, now you can finally throw hammers like a Hammer Bro!
Side Effects: none.
Tanooki Suit
Hmm.. what’s a Tanooki???
Side Effects: you can be able to turn into stone in tough adventures.

Just a shoe…but nonetheless useful against spinys!

I really do not think that "caputuring" an creature like a frog in Super Mario Odyssey is considered a "power-up." Unlike previous 3D Mario games, Odyssey does not have any power-ups (e.g. Fire Flower).
