This event highlighted what needed to change in the scoring system. A fall should automatically eliminate an athlete from medal contention.
still don’t know how china produced cheng fei, only a few chinese gymnasts these days can pull a dty honestly what happened…back in 2008 even bars specialist can do a solid dty
I love Chuso, but Alicia was robbed of the silver. Needless to say, she was also robbed of the bronze.
Not at all. Chuso make 2 good vault, with both 6.3 difficulty. Alicia have 6.3 and 5.8 so it's absolutly NORMAL
@@joym1463 Chuso's form is bad, her legs are flailing in the air, and her 2nd vault was NOT 6.3 difficulty, it was 6.0 only. Alicia deserved the Silver. It's still nice for Chuso to win the Bronze.
@@Zuranthium thank U finally someone said this!! The fact that Alicia land chusovitinas Rudis had the same score is beyond me
@@Zuranthium THANK YOU
Does anyone know if Cheng Fei had a growth spurt or a leg injury at the beggining of 2008 ? I saw a comment one day telling that she had an injury, but I can't remember...
Also for Anna Pavlova, why her coaches didn't screamed at her to not go ???????? The judges were clearly ready here. What a pathetic joke, she failed her Floor after that. They really ruined her, plus I heard she was blacklisted because of that. Lol it wasn't even her fault, poor girl... And I feel like if she had taken the whole runway (not sure of the word) to run and not the same approach as her DTY, her Amanar could have been better and more powerful...
Probably her coaches didn't notice either, even if they screamed she was probably too focused to stop. About floor, in the AA she gave such a fantastic performance but didn't score high (enough to have taken a medal in event finals) so maybe even if she delivered, she wouldn't have gotten a medal. Such a shame, she really deserved better!
I'm not sure that coaches can give verbal cues as their athletes are competing. Is that legal?
Do U have the vault final from London 2012?

I just feel terrible for Pavlova, Why, just why?
Je ne suis pas une spécialiste donc est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'expliquer pourquoi Pavlova a obtenu zéro à son 2eme saut 🤔🧐
Alicia i missyou ❤❤❤
Eu não aguento a cara de deboche da Alicia Sacramone kkkkkkkkk
