I have so much respect for these athletes because an Olympic marathon is one of the most difficult races on the entire schedule. Its not about coming first or last it's about finishing the whole race.
The whole race ,from the start to finish,was under control by Kitanny and Gelana . Especially Gelana was defending each attack by Lagat, Jeptoo , Kittany and Archipova The come back of Archipova is a big surprise. Gelanas strategy dropping the Kenyans one by one worked very well . She defended the last push by Kitanny .She made it with a final and devastating push to settle with Jeptoo of Kenya.

People always remember
London tour but with a twist. You have to run an Olympic marathon 😜

After two hours and twenty minutes the commentators finally go of the wall. Forgetting the alphabet, narrating a conversation between athletes that didn't happen.

Beautiful winner, magnificent face ! The second is just close to her. Great four female runners on the head of the race. Congratulation to the russian third place, Russians are so courageous ! The little woman in fourth is so beautiful, a perfect manner of running !
