As always a very entertaining video, I really love listening to you guys hanging out and chatting about the game.
As someone who only plays solo (unless I get someone willing to try the game out) pretty much all my armies are unusual.
Thanks for the compliment, that's where it really started for us before we did the podcast, we'd just spend hours talking about the game!
The fiefdoms with the bear was interesting. Actually was helping a buddy on his laketown list that had a bear drop as well!

It’s an interesting idea, but as of the August 2023 FAQ the Master is now a Hero of Fortitude in convenient lists, so you’d have to take Bard for this alliance to work.
I'm starting my first good army! My list is wholly meant to be a fun combo list that doesn't cost a fortune.

Merry, captain of the shire on pony.
7 hobbit militia.
Farmer maggot.
Grip fang and wolf.
Tom Bombadil.
Break point: 11 dead.
Quartered: 15 dead.
The idea is that Bombadil makes the already tanky celeborn completely invincible and always gives him will to throw enchanted blades
Cool idea! My only thing is that I'd be afraid of breaking very quickly after my hobbits get focused down... 😅

2/1, game one broke 42 dwarves on breakthrough, game two killed both Elendil and Gilgalad in to the death
And then lost assassination to elven shooting on a board with no cover. Got into combat with two horses lol but it was glorious
