Living rock icon and musical recording superstar Meatloaf sits down to Red Carpet News TV at the world premiere of the long awaited Bat Out Of Hell The Musical. Meatloaf talks about the fifty year battle to make the stage show a reality and his legendary recording partnership with composer Jim Steinman.
Meatloaf tells us how he first met Steinman on Broadway and the unique approach to recording they adopted on the classic Bat Out Of Hell Albums which saw Meatloaf sing ‘in character’ and never directly discuss the meaning of any of Steinman’s lyrics with him. The show currently playing in Manchester and transfers to London’s West End from June 2017. Check out our other videos for more exclusive content and don’t forget to subscribe.

A Steinman song and meat loaf is like a lock and a key.

I agree. Noone gives as much believability to Jims songs as Meat IMO.

This was such a great tidbit, and it's awesome how much Meat adores Jim.

Jim and Meat a Brotherhood Friendship, oh no Real Big Lovestory, which was great enough to survive together each and every dark and sorrow day! Hopefully they found the otherone of them in heaven so that they never been alone again! Oh captain my captain

Sad to see him like this. He's on downers. Maybe benzodiazepines. I know cause I've been doing it too. I love Meatloaf.

So stupid your words. Benzodiazepines are for stress or anxiety. This powerful and wonderful man had between others health problems 4 back surgeries.
