I understand if people don't like his style of music, but *nobody* can say that Meatloaf didn't OWN the stage, when the lights went on!!! Was lucky enough to catch one live show, about 20 years ago, and so very thankful for the experience.
Wow! What a performance and what a performer! Been blessed to have had the chance to see Meat Loaf several times live. Most people only know his top songs but the lesser known songs are also amazing. Proud to say that my two sons became fans of his music also. Just saw an TH-cam interview with him and he said that really pisses him off when they write his name as one word Meatloaf that it’s Meat Loaf, two words. Today’s my day off and I’m going to play his videos and listen to his music all day. We love you Meat Loaf.

Ich habe damals die Sendung gesehen. Beni war mit dem quirligen Meat Loaf völlig überfordert. Aber seither hin ich Fan von Meatloaf (RIP) und besitze 2 DVD's.
Ich finde, der hat das hervorragend gemeistert. Ich kenne die Show und den Moderator nicht, aber das war sicherlich auch leicht choreografiert. Die Amerikaner nennen das "Marketing" .

That's the Meat Loaf I know....I had the "paradise by the dashboard lights" experience while the song was playing in my car when it was just released...wow that was surreal back then that night. When I hear the song now it gives me chills, a smile and some tears. RIP Meat.

This is one of my favorite songs by my Meatloaf .I love the chemistry between him and Patti .She is literally one of the most underrated singers ever! She has stage presence,talent ,and so gorgeous.My uncle was his under study in R.h.P.S he was a “dead ringer” for him .Looks and talent along with personality.We met him in the 70’s and he stayed friends with my uncle till he passed.
