A Tier List Ranking all the Three Houses Crit Quotes

- I wanted to rank the crit quotes from Three Houses and NOBODY is going to stop me. You can't. It's already been done. Fool.
I might do the ones for Fire Emblem Engage eventually too. Next week is a Halloween special, though.

I still think Hubert's lines post timeskip are A tier worthy. I had a similar reaction to hearing them, he's even more into it, and "We will burn together!" is a great addition. Wish they kept the laughter though
You forgot my forgot my favorite Edelgard quote: "You're a fucking idiot."
Lysintheas “I don’t have time for this” is pure genius 😂 and sad…
Good taste but I think Edelgard’s “Don’t waste my time!” goes way harder
Lorenz’ “In a hurry to die, are you?” Is genuinely my favorite crit quote in the entire series. It was so good, that even though i HATED him at first, it made me do a 180 and go ‘actually maybe hes not so bad’
To me, it's on par with Frederick's ''Pick a god and pray!'' because both lines embody their personality while enhancing it as well. Frederick's serious nature and loyalty is exagerated to the max, and Lorenz's snobbishness is also exagerated to the max. I love these so much, and just like you it made me love Lorenz so much more

Seteth only being in A tier is the biggest upset of this list

i like Post-Timeskip Hilda a lot Actually, it sounds like she's just tired of the war, she sounds much more depressed about it, i would put her in A personally, outside of thati agree with all of the positions, also Hubert fell of a cliff pre to post timeskip, the laughter was sooo good
That is an interesting way to look at Hilda's changes.
Crit quotes are a good standard but some of the newer games have a lot of lines these lists don't account for, like victory lines and even selection lines. Some of my favourite character lines are contained within these
True. Unit selection quotes play a big part in how good the units feel to use.
I remembered Annette being good, then I heard her crit quotes here and realized the line I liked from her was “I'm your girl”. It's her selection line that kinda reflects how much she grew on me as a unit (no investment/ended up strongest) and also had a personality change from clumsy person to confident and done with her past'ish type @@Bicken
I’m in love with some of the kill an enemy lines as well as the “good level up” lines
@@justinmathis8078 "Hoho look at these muscles! Who wants to touch em?" (Tobin) and "This is what a real man looks like"(Sylvain) as well as "Strength and beauty, what a pair!" (Manuela) come to mind for level ups.

i didn't realize until now but the fact that the character that says it is the guy known for being the most flirtaitous guy of all fodlan makes it funnier

This is a great video. However, there are a few you missed out. Fore example, some of the church characters have post timeskip crit quotes and byleth has some different ones after chapter 10. I can understand why they would be left out though.

i love how for both of ben diskin’s characters (lorenz and caspar) you’re specifically shouting out the voice acting like that’s kind of a funny throughline and a good commentary on his range
also i know post TS dorothea is pretty high on the tierlist but she got robbed. easiest S tier of my life

Mercedes S tier, everybody else D tier.
"You're making me work!" and she is so ANNOYED that she has to proof to people that she actually has the capabilities is never not funny and post timeskip I think Hilda isn't only restrained but also fed up. Her family is basically burning the candle on two ends with keeping the gates towards the east AND the war in Fodland. But Marianne got a glow up, didn't she?
As to Flayne: She is supposed to be a healer but neither Blue Lions nor Golden Deer have a good spot for her. Mercedes and Marinette are way more powerful in that regard, as well as Linhard.
Dorothea took the war Edelgard forced the worst from the Black eagles. All of them really weren't well on her side but managed to keep up a bit of themselves. But Dorothea really lost her bubbly and friendly characteristics and became resentful and lowkey bitter. "I'll leave you breathless" sounds so much more menacing than what most enemies and characters deliver.
Seteth is top 3 there's no way you only put him A.
Is all you care about is funny lines or something??? This tier list sucks
