Claude is a grand slam character. His pre-timeskip allows him that freedom to become both INCREDIBLE designs. Both Three Hopes, and War Arc Claude are fricken incredible designs. It might be a tie for me, and he was the reason I started with Golden Deer. Still my favorite house.

My one and only issue with post timeskip Lysithea is that her purple hair wrap clashes with her generic class color palette so if you have her use her class outfit in battle (or put her on a mount, in which case she's forced to) it looks ugly and mismatched. I don't know why they gave her those white & red colors for her generic outfits when she could have easily had purple!
I lost my shit when Glitter said "I can't fix him" also, 45:15 Glitter is absolutely right. Personally, I'm the exact opposite when it comes to pre and post timeskip Ingrid. If you could combine Lysithea's post timeskip headdress with her outfit in 3 Hopes it would be perfect to me. Last one, I wouldn't describe Leonie as cute in 3 Houses, and I don't like that she is in 3 Hopes.

This video makes me really wish their was an update for Three Houses which lets you change the character’s designs to their Three Hopes in NG+. For me the best design imo is Dimitri all around and it’s not just face and hair it’s also the outfits he wears. His staring outfit makes me looks like your traditional FE lord and he is battle ready wearing gauntlets and more weapons also love his large shoulder cape. His hair is the only downside it just looks abit silly to me and he looks like a nerd. His post time skip design is amazing, his hair is nothing special but it just fits with his more ragged look plus his High Lord outfit being all black armor with blue scare and furs with large flowing cape. Then when he upgraded to his Great Lord outfit with the silver and use of his crest in his design and it really fits the character arc he goes through plus his alt hair style is great. In 3Hopes I do really enjoy his new high lord armor a lot and I do agree he looks a lot like his father his fits a place where he didn’t lose his mind about figuring out El, one of his last family members betrayed him.

Glad to know that Lysithea got the rankings she deserved. I do disagree with with some of the rankings, but I think the rationale behind placements is what we really come to a tier list for. There's not going to be an objective answer, and the fun of a tier list is seeing what criteria people put in place and how they make decisions. The only one I seriously disagreed with was Edelgard. I love Timeskip Edelgard, I think it's the perfect image for an emperor, and the horns add a lot to the imposing figure. Comparatively, Three Hopes Edelgard looks like a magical girl, which isn't a bad aesthetic necessarily, but it just makes her seem overly youthful and childish compared to the emperor vibe she had. I know, only based on aesthetics, but that one's just impossible for me to untangle from the character.

Quite late, I kinda feel like Edelgards two different post-timeskip hairstyles actually fit her perfectly in different situations. Like, I like the horns and the leia buns because I think it perfectly conveys her position as the emperor and what she tries to express, looking were strict, strong and dominanct, which I feel like fits her best when she's officially in her office. The side-ponytail is very pretty and cute and what I'd imagine her wearing in her free-time or when she isn't doing any public appereance, being more comfy, more pretty, probably how she wears her hair when she's spends her day more at her office with only her old black eagles friends around, not taking in any official visitors or when she's out having quality time with Byleth.
I know it's not true, but it feels like it sometimes. But I think Edelgard post timeskip designs is one of the best in all Fire Emblem. I think not only it's pretty badass - the armour, cape and the horned crown really do things for me - but also conveys the character: someone noble, but willing to be a effing invader and general mass murderer to do things she belives: a noble demon or something of the sort. Hubert designs are pretty "ergh". It hammers a lot how "I am deliciously evil" in almost cartoonie levels. It does kind of convey him simping on Edelgard non stop ans being emo, but goddman, man. Even if the argument was Hubert doesn't care too much about his image, he is kind of crap. Post TS Ferdinand does it better, he is a hard-working noble, but his unkempt her shows how occupied he is with his duties to care appropriately about himself, something that's a big "no no" to nobility. Also, why nobody EVER talks about Dimitri's post time skip Crimson Flower route? He does not have the eyepatch and the eyebag. He looks kinder in that rout, even talking to Edelgard without screeching bloody murder, like he is in the other three routes.
With Hubert I always felt like, he is not a bad guy and cares alot about Edelgard as a person, fully believes in her ideals and if you play through Crimson Flower, you also see him caring alot about his class in general but not always having the appropriate social skills to convey it. He just also has alot fun being the dark Advisor and getting shit down and holding people in check for Edelgard.

Don't worry Glitter. Even in the places I disagree, your opinion on Lorenz is factual. Three main things I disagree on that you guys said: 1. War Phase Dimitri. Eyepatches are awesome. 2. Academy Phase Annette. Her little hair loops are adorable. 3. War Phase Ferdinand. I do see the resemblance to the Beast, but I see the haircut more like Thor. Just imagine him on the middle of the battlefield: hair flowing, parrying strikes from enemies with the Ochain Shield, countering with the Spear of Assal. The enemy general, exasperated, charges forward with sword in hand and shouts, "Who are you?!" With a CLANG! the sword goes flying, and you here the five words of legend, spoken with the same energy as in the reveal trailer for the BE 3 Hopes designs: "I am Ferdinand von Aegir!" As a final note, my main reason for not liking 3 Hopes Linhardt much is because his design reminds me of a character called Nina from Code Geass. If you know, you know.

Imagine not liking Ashe's pre and post time skip designs, what cruel world must one live in to garner those feelings. Jokes asides, I love my boy. Cutest character in the game, yeah, even cuter than Flayn. One of the best glowups in the game. 9/10 for pre and 10/10 for post. I give the 3Hopes one a 7.5 because my boy cannot be given something less. The man literally escapes death in all of my playthroughs because of his pretty privilege.

Caspar is my favorite 3H character (alongside Claude). I like timeskip Caspar better than the Three Hopes (I still like Three Hopes Caspar), but I do like the armor of the Three Hopes Caspar better. Also I think it’s cool that it confirms 3H Caspar has a scar, but it’s covered by his Mohawk bang. Unlike all other 3H timeskip and Hopes portraits, Caspar’s is actually inverted
This wasn't nearly as much of a train wreck as you made it seem like it would be on stream. Sure you both had a hot take here or there, but that's also just every human with an opinion. There was nothing super egregious like Edelgard getting 1's across the board that made my jaw drop. If anything I was surprised how high so many designs scored.

i initially didn't like hubert design but now he is one of my favorite characters and i think his design is top (even emo three hopes). i didn't marry him in 3h only because i ship him with ferdie. and ferdie timeskip is 1000/10
My thoughts: Edelgard: 10 Best new design. I love how the solution to improving Edelgard's new design from the post time skip was doing everything differently. Hubert: 7 I actually prefer his hair being messier here. Caspar: 7 I think the new armor works better than the bulky crap he got in post time skip. The hair, not so much. Petra: 7 The hair looks more traditionally tribal and stands out more. I personally liked Petra's design here more than post time skip. Ferdinand: 9 Fits his personality more than post time skip. Ferdie was probably one of the only characters in my opinion who doesn't benefit from longer hair. Lindhart: 5 Hardly anything changed about him. The best I can say is he doesn't have the dumb bowl cut. Dorothea: 10 Arguably the least changed re design from post time skip to three hopes and it's not hard to see why. Can't really mess with near perfection. Bernadetta: 8 Yeah, I never liked the bowl cut in post time skip. Bernadetta's hair looks much better if it's a little messier. Dimitri: 7 I like it, but I miss one eyed Dimitri. I understand why they couldn't implement his post time skip design in Three Hopes though, given the change in story. Dedue: 7 I like how we don't emphasize the shoulders as much here. It makes Dedue look a bit less bulky. Felix: 6 I preferred how his outfit in post time skip looked slimmer and easier to move in. The new one feels overdone just a bit. Ingrid: 6 I didn't think the haircut was offensive. It just wasn't amazing. Sylvain: 5 The hair just doesn't look the same without his signature ruffle. Mercedes: 9 Hated the hat. Good to see they removed it. Ashe: 8 Much better hair. I like it when the looks don't come off as needlessly formal. Anette: 9 I really love this re design. It keeps a lot of what was great with the post time skip, while highlighting her cuteness (by the way, I gave her pre time skip look a 7. Fight me.) Claude: 10 I like the armor here a bit more. Plus, Claude looks better without the beard. Hilda: 7 I like Hilda but it just isn't quite the same without her pigtails. The hair comes off as overly fancy now. Lorenz: 3 .......Should've kept the hair longer. Ignatz: 3 I can ignore the hair, but I couldn't stand the armor. It doesn't fit for him at all. Marianne: 10 (Speedy, I think your eyes need to be fixed if you really think this is in any way a downgrade) This is basically everything great about Marianne in one design. Her hair looks so much better than the pointless over dressed one we got in post time skip. Lysithea: 8 A little biased on this one but I think characters tend to look better when they aren't trying as hard to be fancy. Raphael: 5 Not really particularly interesting. It's just a bit generic. Leonie: 6 I preferred her with longer hair. But not bad.
So I had to skip ahead a bit to see how y’all ranked Post-TS Leonie, as she’s my favorite character design of all the Three Houses cast (and all timelines). I’m a big fan of the color orange, and the side ponytail-like hair she got Post-TS makes her look awesome and is quite the glow-up overall (I see that y’all thought the same 😁). Anywho, back to watching the rest of the video 👍.
Has anyone mentioned that Three Hopes takes place 2 years after instead of 5 which is why like linhardt for example looks so young compared to his post time skip in three houses
Now as I finish watching I completely change my point of view, speedy is always right, Pre-timeskip Dorothea is a 10 (I think post and mid are 9 and 8 but still great)! But glitter's opinions are great too (except for her opinions on Annette, my soul was crushed...)
Edelgard 3 Hopes wins?! I definetely didn't see that coming, but I have no problems with that. For me, all the Felix designs are a 10/10. Probably I'm very biased, but I think it fits very well with his character. When I saw the 3 Hopes design, I was not a big fan, but then Fehdison posted his video, and that blow my mind a lot. Seeing Felix with Jetstream Sam hair was fantastic, and the best thing I saw in the year. Great video.
Post time skip Edelgard's outfit made me think of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland for some reason, and her Three Hopes outfit does just as much

I knew time skip Mercedes was going to be a rough watch, but I wasn't prepared for pre-time skip Leonie. I agree that it could be better styled, but ouch that was harsh. Personally not too happy with how they look in Three Hopes. Mercy's hair is generic in every sense of the word and Leonie's at least is short but doesn't fit her character.

Should've briefly touched on the lords' alternate hairstyles, Edelgard's alternate hairstyle is so much better than the default timeskip.

Edelgard is the cutest with any form of ponytail
Quite late, I kinda feel like Edelgards two different post-timeskip hairstyles actually fit her perfectly in different situations. Like, I like the horns and the leia buns because I think it perfectly conveys her position as the emperor and what she tries to express, looking were strict, strong and dominanct, which I feel like fits her best when she's officially in her office. The side-ponytail is very pretty and cute and what I'd imagine her wearing in her free-time or when she isn't doing any public appereance, being more comfy, more pretty, probably how she wears her hair when she's spends her day more at her office with only her old black eagles friends around, not taking in any official visitors or when she's out having quality time with Byleth.

I know it's not true, but it feels like it sometimes.
But I think Edelgard post timeskip designs is one of the best in all Fire Emblem. I think not only it's pretty badass - the armour, cape and the horned crown really do things for me - but also conveys the character: someone noble, but willing to be a effing invader and general mass murderer to do things she belives: a noble demon or something of the sort.
Hubert designs are pretty "ergh". It hammers a lot how "I am deliciously evil" in almost cartoonie levels. It does kind of convey him simping on Edelgard non stop ans being emo, but goddman, man.
Even if the argument was Hubert doesn't care too much about his image, he is kind of crap. Post TS Ferdinand does it better, he is a hard-working noble, but his unkempt her shows how occupied he is with his duties to care appropriately about himself, something that's a big "no no" to nobility.
Also, why nobody EVER talks about Dimitri's post time skip Crimson Flower route? He does not have the eyepatch and the eyebag. He looks kinder in that rout, even talking to Edelgard without screeching bloody murder, like he is in the other three routes.
I agree about Edelgard.
Also, Lorenz is THE biggest glow up ever. He goes from a hard 0 to a soft 3. That's not even mesurable on percentages!
With Hubert I always felt like, he is not a bad guy and cares alot about Edelgard as a person, fully believes in her ideals and if you play through Crimson Flower, you also see him caring alot about his class in general but not always having the appropriate social skills to convey it. He just also has alot fun being the dark Advisor and getting shit down and holding people in check for Edelgard.

Don't worry Glitter. Even in the places I disagree, your opinion on Lorenz is factual.
Three main things I disagree on that you guys said:
1. War Phase Dimitri. Eyepatches are awesome.
2. Academy Phase Annette. Her little hair loops are adorable.
3. War Phase Ferdinand. I do see the resemblance to the Beast, but I see the haircut more like Thor. Just imagine him on the middle of the battlefield: hair flowing, parrying strikes from enemies with the Ochain Shield, countering with the Spear of Assal. The enemy general, exasperated, charges forward with sword in hand and shouts, "Who are you?!" With a CLANG! the sword goes flying, and you here the five words of legend, spoken with the same energy as in the reveal trailer for the BE 3 Hopes designs: "I am Ferdinand von Aegir!"
As a final note, my main reason for not liking 3 Hopes Linhardt much is because his design reminds me of a character called Nina from Code Geass. If you know, you know.
I love Edelgard’s post time skip horns. Really sells that Walhart-esque aesthetic and communicates she isn’t someone to fuck with.
I like Three Hopes Felix design, I just think it looks better in actual cutscenes and gameplay, but kind of weird on his portrait

Jokes asides, I love my boy. Cutest character in the game, yeah, even cuter than Flayn. One of the best glowups in the game. 9/10 for pre and 10/10 for post. I give the 3Hopes one a 7.5 because my boy cannot be given something less.

Caspar is my favorite 3H character (alongside Claude). I like timeskip Caspar better than the Three Hopes (I still like Three Hopes Caspar), but I do like the armor of the Three Hopes Caspar better. Also I think it’s cool that it confirms 3H Caspar has a scar, but it’s covered by his Mohawk bang. Unlike all other 3H timeskip and Hopes portraits, Caspar’s is actually inverted
This wasn't nearly as much of a train wreck as you made it seem like it would be on stream. Sure you both had a hot take here or there, but that's also just every human with an opinion. There was nothing super egregious like Edelgard getting 1's across the board that made my jaw drop. If anything I was surprised how high so many designs scored.

I'm so happy you agree on Caspar and Dorothea, Caspar is my favourite fe3h character and his Timeskip is imo the best design in the game, but that fe3hopes is awful, And dorothea overall has the best designs out of the entire cast by far, her looks fit her personality amazingly and she just looks the best in general

the three hopes designs all look really busy to me, I don’t think I prefer any of them to the base designs
My thoughts:
Edelgard: 10 Best new design. I love how the solution to improving Edelgard's new design from the post time skip was doing everything differently.
Hubert: 7 I actually prefer his hair being messier here.
Caspar: 7 I think the new armor works better than the bulky crap he got in post time skip. The hair, not so much.
Petra: 7 The hair looks more traditionally tribal and stands out more. I personally liked Petra's design here more than post time skip.
Ferdinand: 9 Fits his personality more than post time skip. Ferdie was probably one of the only characters in my opinion who doesn't benefit from longer hair.
Lindhart: 5 Hardly anything changed about him. The best I can say is he doesn't have the dumb bowl cut.
Dorothea: 10 Arguably the least changed re design from post time skip to three hopes and it's not hard to see why. Can't really mess with near perfection.
Bernadetta: 8 Yeah, I never liked the bowl cut in post time skip. Bernadetta's hair looks much better if it's a little messier.
Dimitri: 7 I like it, but I miss one eyed Dimitri. I understand why they couldn't implement his post time skip design in Three Hopes though, given the change in story.
Dedue: 7 I like how we don't emphasize the shoulders as much here. It makes Dedue look a bit less bulky.
Felix: 6 I preferred how his outfit in post time skip looked slimmer and easier to move in. The new one feels overdone just a bit.
Ingrid: 6 I didn't think the haircut was offensive. It just wasn't amazing.
Sylvain: 5 The hair just doesn't look the same without his signature ruffle.
Mercedes: 9 Hated the hat. Good to see they removed it.
Ashe: 8 Much better hair. I like it when the looks don't come off as needlessly formal.
Anette: 9 I really love this re design. It keeps a lot of what was great with the post time skip, while highlighting her cuteness (by the way, I gave her pre time skip look a 7. Fight me.)
Claude: 10 I like the armor here a bit more. Plus, Claude looks better without the beard.
Hilda: 7 I like Hilda but it just isn't quite the same without her pigtails. The hair comes off as overly fancy now.
Lorenz: 3 .......Should've kept the hair longer.
Ignatz: 3 I can ignore the hair, but I couldn't stand the armor. It doesn't fit for him at all.
Marianne: 10 (Speedy, I think your eyes need to be fixed if you really think this is in any way a downgrade) This is basically everything great about Marianne in one design. Her hair looks so much better than the pointless over dressed one we got in post time skip.
Lysithea: 8 A little biased on this one but I think characters tend to look better when they aren't trying as hard to be fancy.
Raphael: 5 Not really particularly interesting. It's just a bit generic.
Leonie: 6 I preferred her with longer hair. But not bad.

So I had to skip ahead a bit to see how y’all ranked Post-TS Leonie, as she’s my favorite character design of all the Three Houses cast (and all timelines). I’m a big fan of the color orange, and the side ponytail-like hair she got Post-TS makes her look awesome and is quite the glow-up overall (I see that y’all thought the same 😁).

Edelgard 3 Hopes wins?! I definetely didn't see that coming, but I have no problems with that.
For me, all the Felix designs are a 10/10. Probably I'm very biased, but I think it fits very well with his character. When I saw the 3 Hopes design, I was not a big fan, but then Fehdison posted his video, and that blow my mind a lot. Seeing Felix with Jetstream Sam hair was fantastic, and the best thing I saw in the year.

I do think that they all look decent some had glow ups and glow downs but for me Felix looked amazing and Sylvain I don’t like his hair being straight back so I do agree with you guys. I knew time skip Mercedes was going to be a rough watch, but I wasn't prepared for pre-time skip Leonie. I agree that it could be better styled, but ouch that was harsh.
Personally not too happy with how they look in Three Hopes. Mercy's hair is generic in every sense of the word and Leonie's at least is short but doesn't fit her character.
