I see this type of stuff in pokemon anime I didn't think I see actual "people" treat pokemon as loving as this.
This just like watching anime in two POV lmao, waiting for next episode
Subaru would be aghast if she found out about IV and Shiny breeding. So many pokemon, cast aside like garbage because they weren't born perfect. Perfect IVs, but the wrong nature? Worse than useless, throw that fresh baby to the wild shinx. There's always next time...
Awww what a good Chimchar... HUH ONLY 5 PERFECT IVS?!? TO THE TRASH WITH YOU
Subaru: Justin it’s all my fault. I’ll get stronger and come back for you I promise!!!😭😢❤️
Okayu: They’re just Pokémon ,they’re meant to be expendable 👿😐🗿👺
Look at how far she's come. She used to be a lot like Okayu, only judging Pokémon for an extrinsic reason. But the more she actually played, the more she learned to look past appearance and love her team. She's quite literally the Ash of this story, where her bonds with her team are what make it strong.
She even has his hat.
It made me curipus how emotional she would be if she were to do a nuzlocke.
This is why I love Subaru! I totally get how she feels. That’s probably why I’ve only played Pokémon snap, it’s too hard on my heart to just trade a Pokémon or put them in a box 😂
You can just only catch 6 Pokémon if you’re worried about releasing them.
these Subaru and Okayu pokemon clips are blessed.
This is literally the difference between Red and Blue in the Pokemon Adventures manga
I'm just thinking of the chapter in Adventures when Red and Blue accidentally swap Pokémon, and Blue hardcore trains Red's team but Red couldn't handle Blue's. I feel like Subaru and Okayu would have a very similar dynamic.
Somewhere in japan the embers of yagoo's heart still havent burnt out yet

The music makes it even more heartbreaking.
this is the type of rival dynamic i want in the next pokemon gams.
Protagonist and antagonist meet
I can see wholesome fan arts with Subaru and Justin in the future.
Subaru is the trainer Mewtwo would appreciate, Okayu is the one Mewtwo would fling into space.
Fling into Sana you mean
I... I think I just fell in love with Subaru.
Wow. Subaru just made me rethink my entire pokemon career. Have my 6000 hours truly left me so jaded?
Well like a mother to her ducklings Subaru ready to be a mom. Subaru we love you! Please never change.
She knows all too well what maternal abandonment feels like, and she's not about to put any of her precious children through it.
Subaru is too precious 🥺💖🥲
This is adorable, I wish I could play Pokemon like Subaru, but I'm too much like Okayu.
I absolutey adore the way subaru plays pokemon
