Skincare Playbook: A Dermatologist's Flexible Skincare Routine
I get a lot of questions about my skincare routine and products that I use. I adapt my skincare to the condition of my skin, which seems to be a little different every day. I started this series to share what's going on in my head when I'm choosing the products that I use that day.
I haven't found a single beauty brand (K-beauty or other) that makes an amazing everything (moisturizers, cleansers, sun care), so my regimens are usually a mix of different brands. While I use a lot of K-beauty products, I also use a lot of products from Europe and Japan.
I'm starting this series by sharing a skincare routine I use when my skin is sensitive. My skin felt a little irritated after using the VT Reedle 300, so I wanted a chill regimen to calm things down.

Can you explain more on the use of powder to combat the oily look from sunscreen ? I am male

Of course! After I let the sunscreen set on my skin for a few minutes (I usually get dressed or drink my coffee), if I am still looking oily then I’ll apply a matte powder to areas like my forehead and skin around my nose.
I have been using a powder by CANMAKE but there are a lot of good options. ETUDE makes a good one too (Zero Sebum Drying Powder) that is even less expensive.
