I think the guide included is poorly translated. For everyone who needs to repair a carbon frame : 1 - You should have put some epoxy on the frame and let it sit for 2h before puting the carbon patch. (So its stick, but without being solid) 2 - The carbon patch dont have to be soaked in the solution, you needed to put the carbon patch on the crack (It will stick to the frame thanks to the first layer you have put 2h before), THEN put a thin 2nd layer of epoxy on top of it, THEN wrap it tight. i did a repair and it wasnt messy at all. But i wasnt misleaded with bad translating. Anyway, result is good
Thanks. Yea the instructions didn't seem amazing. Lots of weird translations, but I'm stoked with the final results. I've been absolutely beating on this bike since the repair. I may do a follow up video.

This was very interesting to see this process. Nice work.
Thanks Mike. It was an interesting experiment
Seems to be working great!
We can beat on it some more at winman!
hows your bike rn, is it good?
So far it's holding up good. Taking it on a MTB trip this weekend where it should see a ton of abuse.
@@acebikemedia mine is on curing process rn, will open in tomorrow
If I ever transition to carbon and brake the frame in the way, ill reference back to this video! Carbon < Alloy Frame (Goat)
I do love me some carbon frames but yea, I switched back to aluminum for my Enduro bike and I couldnt be happier.
