I used to play those games on my mom's and later my own iphone 3 back in the day, so ikr all the way. On android they added back angry birds classic but they made it FREEMIUM and with star locks.

At this points, there’s mobile games where they’re generous with what free thing they offer (eg nintendo mobile is pretty fair in all but they are a billion dollar video game company) and then there’s games where they are littered with ads and paying money is the only way to make real progress
Angry birds were literally the "cool guys" game when I was 8. If you didn't know Angry birds you would be judged soo hard by everyone, that was the extent of popularity of the game. Even my dad who was in his early 40s during those times used to love this game, soo much that my mum got annoyed lol. Especially the space game; I used to play it all damn day. It's lockdown here in India and 3 days into the lockdown I got soo bored. I got this sudden idea of downloading all the old games (subway surfers, plants vs zombies, temple run) and playing them to pass time. I got reminded of angry birds and tried searching it up on play store but I didn't come up. I was soo confused that I grabbed my family members phones and started search for it but with no success. I didn't know that the company literally deleted them off the store and let me tell you my disappointment is immeasurable my day is ruined. I sincerely hope they bring back this entire game series back asap

When I was a kid, I had a serious problem and I stayed in the hospital, and the only games I had on my tablet were the original Angry Birds and Angry Birds epic.... These games have helped me get through and when I see that they have been deleted, I want to cry...
I remember when me and my sister used to refere to the characters based on what they are For example Blues=kids Chuck=triangle Foreman pig=grandpa King pig=king Hal=seagull Those are some of the names we gave them We didn't give names to all of the characters tho
I started playing Angry Birds back in 2014, it was the only thing I played back then on mobile. As a kid, I'd always go onto Toons TV and watch all the Angry Birds and Piggy Tales episodes, then a few years later, Rovio screwed up and moved to TH-cam, I stopped playing around 2018 but still continue playing AngryBird Seasons every now and again when I am offline. Nowadays, I rarely play mobile games but Angry Birds will always be with me.
Don't forget, Seasons used to have basically all of its content as free to play. But they then locked everyone out of their existing progress and decided to charge the users to get access to the later seasons they had progress in.

The old games are starting to come back now! The first Angry Birds game has re-released for $0.99 and has no ads, as well as the Mighty Eagle being completely free.

Some updates: Angry Birds revealed the true reason behind the removal of their older games. The game's engines were becoming hard to maintain as technology improved, and Rovio wasn't able to update them as a result, which caused them to remove the games. Thankfully Rovio has decided to rebuild the classic Angry Birds from the ground up on a new engine, and the original game is finally back in the app store for 99 cents (+ Mighty Eagle is free). Hopefully they bring back their other games such as Seasons and Space, but Rovio said not to expect Rio and Star Wars, as those are 3rd party collabs that would be pain for Rovio to renew.
I can't believe they *deleted* the older games. That game was probably the first "real" videogame I got into - it was a huuuge part of my childhood. I even had an Angry Birds themed cake for my 7th birthday! I had a balloon, too, and I kept it for a long time on my wall. A few of the little figurines off of my cake sit on my shelves.
literally my entire life was based off this game. I had my entire room themed my entire room off of it, all my birthdays from 4-11 was all Angry Birds themed. I have a Ice Bird plush literally still with me to this day. man 2011-2016 was the best. My dream was always to go to Angry Birds Land.

I search up on google and there is a google play section with the angry birds game (legit this worked for me when i tried to get angry birds epic back) Still tho. It might better of not downloading the true classics like the original and seasons as they have been butchered with locked stages and ads and well... Every greedy thing.
Allow me to present what was Angry Birds 2009: Angry Birds was released and everyone played it. Walkthroughs would be launched, trailers would be launched and real quality animations were launched. And Rovio was half trying to be successful and half having fun. 2010: More people would play Angry Birds and Rovio would start launching Merchandise. Shirts, hats, hoodies, blankets and much more! But the most special one, was toys. And especially the plushies. People on TH-cam would make videos involving Angry Birds toys. Angry Birds became popular world wide 2011-2012: There were Angry Birds Space and Seasons which brought the Angry Birds community to a whole different level. Rovio partnered with the movies Rio, and Star Wars to create their games. Angry Birds became a success. 2013-2015: Angry Birds started generating ideas to create Angry Birds Go!, Friends, Epic and had their own show starring most of the birds except Green Bird and Stella. Then Rovio made their final collaboration with Transformers and made a sequel to Angry Birds Star Wars. Around this time, Angry Birds 2 was released which did quite okay and Rovio was still successful. But of course, things had to change. 2016: The Angry Birds Movie hits (and destroys) theatres. What came out were your favourite birds and pigs... but with limbs? And they can speak English? It turned out okay but there wasn’t that Angry Birds feeling. But then Rovio started using the Movie design in their new games, Action and Blast. 2017-2018: Less people talked about Angry Birds. There we’re new games of course but no sight of Angry Birds TH-cam videos meaning the community stopped. Rovio "upgraded" their games with powers and chopped the treehouse down in Angry Birds Go! 2019: It was the Angry Birds 10th anniversary and as everyone knows... Space, Rio, Seasons, Epic, Go!, Stella, Star Wars 1&2, Formally Bad Piggies And the original game got deleted. The remaining good games left are Transformers (dk why this is still here but ok) Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Friends. So Rovio deleted most of their good old games and only left The Movie designed game unharmed. What’s worse is Rovio made their new games rip offs of other games like candy crush but with Angry Birds characters just to attract younger kids and earning Rovio money. After fans repeatedly plead Rovio to revive them, they ignored those comments and focused on their new games. And that was the end of the Legend that is, Angry Birds.
Nowadays, it feels like Angry Birds is just a movie franchise, with some themed games here and there. It simply doesn't feel like a "video game franchise" anymore.
As weird as it may sound,I thought Angry Birds Star Wars 2 was the best game out of all of them because it had like a hundred different birds with different powers and new mechanics. Really dissapointing that they deleted it

Good video, would like to see some more consistent audio mixing from the transitions however, this may be a singular problem to this video but if it’s not, you really gotta get that checked out. Nobody likes turning down the volume up and down constantly. Other than that small complaint though this is pretty good stuff, I’ll stay tuned to recent uploads and watch as this channel rises through the TH-cam ranks!
Yup, a year or two back when I checked Angry Birds, the developers had already destroyed by making it into stages, where you could unlock a stage only by completing the previous one. Before you could get more of them just by stars.
Ngl, Space, Star Wars, and Star Wars 2 were the best. However, I’d argue that Bad Piggies was better than literally ever main game. It was just so much more interesting than everything else. Honestly, I lost most of my interest in the series after the movie and 2. It just lost interest with me. The movie designs just don’t click like the originals, and the new art style from 2 just didn’t interest me.
Even before the classic games were removed, Rovio still tried to milk money from them. They updated the games so that you had to use coins to unlock levels (which you got either by earning more stars in the levels or paying fot them) and it's especially annoying in Angry Birds Seasons where you have to pay hundreds of coins just to play older levels. The cartoons they put out on their TH-cam channel seem to have also taken a massive hit, they're nowhere near as well animated or clever as they once were.

I literally cried for three entire days when I discovered that Angry birds Rio was no longer available. I was looking to install it to relive some nostalgia, just to break my heart I'm not kidding when I say it was my childhood I used to wake up during the summer vacation, having an early breakfast and then going to the bedroom to play it with my family I'm so pissed that they deleted it...

My favorite ones were Epic and Go, because they were different from the OG style of Angry Birds, and were a lot innovative. When a bunch of months ago i saw they removed them from play store i said like: *WTF* Altought i readed once that they did not removed them for test purposes, but to avoid having to update them for new devices or something like that, but in Canada, Australia and new Zealand are still avaible

As a Finn I remember when it hit off, they started to make every kind of merchandise they could. There were Angry Birds candies that actually were really good, especially the crunchy egg shaped toffees and fruit flavoured soft bird candies. Angry Birds merch was everywhere, but I haven't seen it for a long time. It's sad they had to milk it so much, it's nonsensical to delete the original. Rovio should leave the original as it is and start developing something new in my opinion.
Why I was little I was addicted to angry bird stuffed animals but lost them after the went off store. I also have an angry bird lunch kit, shirt and a Valentine’s Day themed Matilda. Bring them back rovio!
Hopefully they would make a bundle comprising of all those deleted games, as Rovio's way of saying "Fine! Here's your 2012, NOW F#%K OFF!" I bet that would top the app store almost immediately.
Honestly I'm not big on mobile games but that would sell well just by selling archived apk files. I mean it's supposed to be pick up and play not play for hours to unlock your favorite level.

I started playing Angry Birds back in 2014, it was the only thing I played back then on mobile. As a kid, I'd always go onto Toons TV and watch all the Angry Birds and Piggy Tales episodes, then a few years later, Rovio screwed up and moved to TH-cam, I stopped playing around 2018 but still continue playing AngryBird Seasons every now and again when I am offline. Nowadays, I rarely play mobile games but Angry Birds will always be with me.

Some updates: Angry Birds revealed the true reason behind the removal of their older games. The game's engines were becoming hard to maintain as technology improved, and Rovio wasn't able to update them as a result, which caused them to remove the games. Thankfully Rovio has decided to rebuild the classic Angry Birds from the ground up on a new engine, and the original game is finally back in the app store for 99 cents (+ Mighty Eagle is free). Hopefully they bring back their other games such as Seasons and Space, but Rovio said not to expect Rio and Star Wars, as those are 3rd party collabs that would be pain for Rovio to renew.

That game was probably the first "real" videogame I got into - it was a huuuge part of my childhood. I even had an Angry Birds themed cake for my 7th birthday! I had a balloon, too, and I kept it for a long time on my wall. A few of the little figurines off of my cake sit on my shelves.

Allow me to present what was Angry Birds
2009: Angry Birds was released and everyone played it. Walkthroughs would be launched, trailers would be launched and real quality animations were launched. And Rovio was half trying to be successful and half having fun.
2010: More people would play Angry Birds and Rovio would start launching Merchandise. Shirts, hats, hoodies, blankets and much more! But the most special one, was toys. And especially the plushies. People on TH-cam would make videos involving Angry Birds toys. Angry Birds became popular world wide
2011-2012: There were Angry Birds Space and Seasons which brought the Angry Birds community to a whole different level. Rovio partnered with the movies Rio, and Star Wars to create their games. Angry Birds became a success.
2013-2015: Angry Birds started generating ideas to create Angry Birds Go!, Friends, Epic and had their own show starring most of the birds except Green Bird and Stella. Then Rovio made their final collaboration with Transformers and made a sequel to Angry Birds Star Wars.
Around this time, Angry Birds 2 was released which did quite okay and Rovio was still successful.
But of course, things had to change.
2016: The Angry Birds Movie hits (and destroys) theatres. What came out were your favourite birds and pigs... but with limbs? And they can speak English? It turned out okay but there wasn’t that Angry Birds feeling. But then Rovio started using the Movie design in their new games, Action and Blast.
2017-2018: Less people talked about Angry Birds. There we’re new games of course but no sight of Angry Birds TH-cam videos meaning the community stopped. Rovio "upgraded" their games with powers and chopped the treehouse down in Angry Birds Go!
2019: It was the Angry Birds 10th anniversary and as everyone knows...
Space, Rio, Seasons, Epic, Go!, Stella, Star Wars 1&2, Formally Bad Piggies And the original game got deleted. The remaining good games left are Transformers (dk why this is still here but ok) Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Friends.
So Rovio deleted most of their good old games and only left The Movie designed game unharmed. What’s worse is Rovio made their new games rip offs of other games like candy crush but with Angry Birds characters just to attract younger kids and earning Rovio money. After fans repeatedly plead Rovio to revive them, they ignored those comments and focused on their new games.
And that was the end of the Legend that is, Angry Birds.

Honestly, I lost most of my interest in the series after the movie and 2. It just lost interest with me. The movie designs just don’t click like the originals, and the new art style from 2 just didn’t interest me.

Even before the classic games were removed, Rovio still tried to milk money from them. They updated the games so that you had to use coins to unlock levels (which you got either by earning more stars in the levels or paying fot them) and it's especially annoying in Angry Birds Seasons where you have to pay hundreds of coins just to play older levels. The cartoons they put out on their TH-cam channel seem to have also taken a massive hit, they're nowhere near as well animated or clever as they once were.

As a Finn I remember when it hit off, they started to make every kind of merchandise they could. There were Angry Birds candies that actually were really good, especially the crunchy egg shaped toffees and fruit flavoured soft bird candies. Angry Birds merch was everywhere, but I haven't seen it for a long time. It's sad they had to milk it so much, it's nonsensical to delete the original. Rovio should leave the original as it is and start developing something new in my opinion.
Why I was little I was addicted to angry bird stuffed animals but lost them after the went off store. I also have an angry bird lunch kit, shirt and a Valentine’s Day themed Matilda. Bring them back rovio!
