I have extremely fond memories of this game. Mostly related to rage-quitting in Chronicle Cave due to how gosh darn difficult it was. Same deal with the optional Maelstrom fight. And the final boss of the game was absolutely legendary.
they nerfed maelstrom so it was easier lol. golden pig system reverted back to original at some point which sucks. places that did not require friendship gates now need them for some reason. xp to level up somehow is reduced. number of waves for chronicle caves are reduced. chronicle caves enemies do not match the enemies before joining the battle. double xp for 5 battles at the beginning of each day is no longer a thing. prices of classes that need lucky coins are increased. paladin healing ability is nerfed. i can go on and on about this lol
Fun fact: Porky is actually NOT a new character, he's the pig from Bad Piggies. Also Chef is called "Wizpig" and when I played his boss fight I played Wizpig's theme from Diddy Kong Racing because yes.

I really love the cutscenes, the map is so beautiful and I loved how the cutscenes take place on the actual map. Plus moving from distant levels only to see the birds walking there is a delight!

Man the nostalgia. Who remembers when angry birds was actually good? Like, all the games were still on the AppStore and NOT removed. When Angry Birds Go! wasn’t mediocre. Back when angry birds wasn’t milked to death. When Angry Birds 2 didn’t become their main priority. Back when the games were actually fun, and not boring.
Rovio is only making angry bird themed puzzle games but angry birds fight made match making dun especially watching the birds fight at the end going “arg Arabia aragargarafa aa aaaaaaaa booom!” I think that’s how it went?
My dad used to play Angry Birds and he always was happy when a new one came out. I still remember the day when my dad downloaded Angry Birds 2 and we were shocked we were one of the first players of this game. But now, Angry Birds is dead. When I was like 10/11 years old I used to wake up everyday and asking my mom to unlock the tablet just to claim everyday reward. And damn, i got OP Aztek-like set for Red. But my save somehow got deleated and I quit this game. I bet that i would be better at this game right now because i can understand English and game mechanics.

I remember playing this game as well as angry birds go when I was a kid. Epic is probably one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. RIP to these games and the memories they brought along with them.
the soundtrack is great, and the story fills in why we are fighting although basic. the strategy and replay-ability is amazing, not completely pay-to-win, and a great post-story path to take with even more unique challenges that build on the original base gameplay. Also the art style aged really well.
This game was my childhood. For a while, I forgot this game existed after beating it a few years ago. I played it again and beat the game again and oh boy it was a nostalgia trip. I. LOVE. THIS. GAME! Reading this review honestly makes me wish they did something like this again. :) Thanks for bringing back the childhood I think everyone deserved. :)
Yup, I have so many good memories with Angry Birds Epic... I had the older version in my good ol' Nokia phone and it was great! I remember when I played it with my cousin and we used to diss all the pigs and did all kinds of stuff.

playing angry birds 2 is good at first but it gets repetitive when you get to higher levels like most of their levels is recycled or already done like i love the bouncing,portal,fan or air levels and i think it needs more
Its patched now I think but you equip one that but before it gets on you press the other hat and you will equip that hat instead. It might crash the game though.

I honestly liked this game, It began well but over time, It felt harder to navigate with the increasing power of enemies and the little amount of snout and gold coins given to upgrade, It eventually overwhelms me and I just stare at all the items I can't obtain at all, then some hidden microtransactions just leave me there, wanting to spend a few bucks to mess around with cool stuff

Yeah back to my kid days,i was beaten by that damm pig over and over again until i try a strategy that revolves around red,chucky and the bules 1.Use the second hat of the blues to the ally who's the pig targeting 2.Use Chucky 1st hat to ally(same as what i said to the blues one) 3.i use red(basically any gear will work as the same but i use the first gear to make it targets red first and since red can use protection on himself and he's a tank,he can live a single hit And then the pig started to hit red,red survived and the pig lose a lot of health and repeat the process That's how i beat the pig when i was 8 and it took me 6 days to think about it and some tips from my older brother

The soundtrack always made me want to bop my head up and down, the game looks very good and the gameplay was sooo much fun. The game isn't too pay-to-win which is nice and the game difficulty is perfect. This game is perfect in my eyes. Though not gonna lie it might be because of nostalgia.
It definitely is pat to win, and the difficulty is definitely too much in a few areas (though that’s very uncommon), but as a whole it’s a great rpg and easily one of the best mobile games ever made
I recently also replayed the game (currently at cave level 12), but i have remarked a couple of things: -at mid level, like passed the sort of jungle and the first Dungeon, chuck is the worst birds and you basically only need mathilda, bomb and blues for the majority of the map. -once you get to the cave, the only good birds are mathilda, bomb and red. Blues are useful sometimes but the combination of mathilda princess or priestess + bomb cannoneer or red samurai are just too good to try to make chuck work because of its super low health (same problem with blues, but blues have marksmen which delivers extremely high damage when paired with other multihits classes. -spamming bomb cannoneer counter+mathilda princess redirective properties makes the game until cave level ~9 pretty easy overall But yeah, it's a classic and a great game
"im gonna be fighting an old man and a group of pigs with polio" sums it up perfectly Love the video and the gags and jokes in it, wasnt expecting this one but it was dope
I couldn't beat the last boss for MONTHS when I was a kid, just a week ago I had my revenge by playing the game again from the start and then using mighty eagle to cheese the last boss fight.. my decade long itch has been cured

the soundtrack is great, and the story fills in why we are fighting although basic. the strategy and replay-ability is amazing, not completely pay-to-win, and a great post-story path to take with even more unique challenges that build on the original base gameplay. Also the art style aged really well.

Yup, I have so many good memories with Angry Birds Epic... I had the older version in my good ol' Nokia phone and it was great! I remember when I played it with my cousin and we used to diss all the pigs and did all kinds of stuff.
Too bad I didn't get to beat the game cause I accidentally uninstall it then suddenly few months ago they all dead dead gone. :(

Its patched now I think but you equip one that but before it gets on you press the other hat and you will equip that hat instead. It might crash the game though.

Honestly, Angry Birds Spaces was my favorite, just for the nostalgia factor.
I used to play it when I was in 1st grade and got addicted and downloaded again like in 2018
The biggest nostalgia triggers are the background space ambiences
I honestly liked this game, It began well but over time, It felt harder to navigate with the increasing power of enemies and the little amount of snout and gold coins given to upgrade, It eventually overwhelms me and I just stare at all the items I can't obtain at all, then some hidden microtransactions just leave me there, wanting to spend a few bucks to mess around with cool stuff

@James Awasum it happens on some devices, like on the phone in Currently using, a sony z5 premium running android 7Ab Epic works fine with a few glitches (cutscenes lag badly for no reason) but on my huwawai p10 or p7 it doesnt load with The official play store download

Yeah back to my kid days,i was beaten by that damm pig over and over again until i try a strategy that revolves around red,chucky and the bules
1.Use the second hat of the blues to the ally who's the pig targeting
2.Use Chucky 1st hat to ally(same as what i said to the blues one)
3.i use red(basically any gear will work as the same but i use the first gear to make it targets red first and since red can use protection on himself and he's a tank,he can live a single hit
And then the pig started to hit red,red survived and the pig lose a lot of health and repeat the process
That's how i beat the pig when i was 8 and it took me 6 days to think about it and some tips from my older brother
I was stuck in that level for 4 months 'till i learned how to build a strategy

Enter a new breed of hero in a game that’s truly EPIC
The soundtrack always made me want to bop my head up and down, the game looks very good and the gameplay was sooo much fun. The game isn't too pay-to-win which is nice and the game difficulty is perfect. This game is perfect in my eyes. Though not gonna lie it might be because of nostalgia.
It definitely is pat to win, and the difficulty is definitely too much in a few areas (though that’s very uncommon), but as a whole it’s a great rpg and easily one of the best mobile games ever made

I remember a glitch where you could get 10 free legendary weapons instead of 1 if you pressed the 10x button instead of the 1x
I recently also replayed the game (currently at cave level 12), but i have remarked a couple of things:
-at mid level, like passed the sort of jungle and the first Dungeon, chuck is the worst birds and you basically only need mathilda, bomb and blues for the majority of the map.
-once you get to the cave, the only good birds are mathilda, bomb and red. Blues are useful sometimes but the combination of mathilda princess or priestess + bomb cannoneer or red samurai are just too good to try to make chuck work because of its super low health (same problem with blues, but blues have marksmen which delivers extremely high damage when paired with other multihits classes.
-spamming bomb cannoneer counter+mathilda princess redirective properties makes the game until cave level ~9 pretty easy overall
But yeah, it's a classic and a great game
