    With a custom firmware this radio can send off grid messages at very long distances and receive a far wider frequency range than intended. This is the Quansheng UV-K5(8). It is an extremely cheap dual band handheld radio, but unlike similar radios before it, this might be the most hackable radio.

      @@AlienCatcher23 The Uv-K5/6 is analog by standard. If there is someone with your same radio/freq and messaging firmware, it would work.
