    This is by far the main reason I only use Egzumer. Can't wait for the 0.23 version. Thanks for the video!

      Thanks for watching and commenting. If you haven't already, give the F4HWN firmware, based on Egzumer a try 😉

    You can also use buttons 3 and 9 while in the spectrum.. it seems to magnify if right terms. 9 to zoom in and 3 back out. I’m not to wise on all this but it moves the spectrum and the -numbers top left of screen.

      Just tried this on mine. 3 and 9 cycle through all the bands with the firmware I have. Thanks I learned new buttons to use.

    I just purchased a K5(99) and with the stock firmware if I press F+5 I get the spectrum analyzer rather than the NOAA scan. I thought the spectrum analyzer was only available with the hacked firmware like Egzumer. My firmware in Chirp shows as 0SFW-bd90ca3. Can anyone else confirm if this has always been available in the stock firmware or has my new radio got some new stock firmware that has the spectrum analyzer? I've also noticed that two menu options shown in the manual are not in the radio, #34 "AL-MOD" and #49 "NOAA_S", are not in my menu but I can see them in Chirp or the Quansheng "Portable Radio CPS" software.

      Unfortunately, I changed my firmware in the K5(99) before I had a chance to check. Hopefully someone else will know the answer. Thanks for watching 👍

    Is there a firmware available that will turn the UVK5/UVK6 into a portable Drone Detection device (seeing as it is capable of waterfall and spectrum analyzer scanning I figured that there has to be someone that has developed a bata version for this usage out there somewhere…?)

    Can you flash firmware so you can listen to 27mhz cb radio

    • @Androsynth75
      @Androsynth75 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Egzumer firmware allows scanning down to 18mhz, so yep, you can.

      @@thedude8046 I literally just got mine yesterday. This is easily the best $25 radio ever made. The amount of things you can do with these due to the custom firmware is nuts. There’s one piece of software that’ll even let you control it from a pc like a desk radio. There’s going to be all kinds of neat stuff developed for these things.

    It amazes me how people can write these programs.
