Question, so I believe my stock PCM is not working to regulate the voltage to the alternator, but everything else seems to work fine. Is this going to be a problem in downloading to the handheld unit? From what I’ve researched, I’m going to need a new PCM so the alternator can charge the battery, so I figured why not get the Diablo sport system and get a few more ponies at the same time.
Hey there! Shouldn't be an issue. If you have a 2015+ mopar you will need a new unlocked PCM anyways so you will be good either way. The unlocked pcm only records the vin and mileage from your oem and doesn't transfer anything else.
hey there, if there's engine light code to read, I would take it to a dealer and have them use their starscan, they can read exactly what's going on especially if it's a pcm. You would need to take it to a dealer or a tuner anyways to transfer the vin number to the new pcm if you end up needing it. Shouldnt cost much for a scan/diagnostic. Hope this helps!

I am having a hard time understanding if I need the security bypass cable or module. Where did you get the module as I only see that for the wrangler and gladiator vs. grand Cherokee. Any insight you have would be awesome, many thanks

@craigmacnaughton6858 yea I think the best you can do for 02 sensors is get custom tune from hemifever or Jay Greene and they can delete the 02 sensors, but that's about it

Im glad I don't have the bypass module on my 16 Wk2 however PCM is locked. Just swap and program and Data logging.

I have replaced the fuel pump the fuel filter and it runs for a little bit and then it dies. Could that be the PCM
