I wish Dji would make their goggles 3 and fpv controller 3 (for avata 2) downward compatible to fligh O3-drones like these
DJI never makes new products backwards comp until they sell enough of the new product. Wait 6 to 12 months and the backwards compatibility will arrive in firmware updates.

It makes sense that Caddx made his own cinewoop, no walksnail option for this drone. Speaking about the battery, I would try a 450 or 550, maybe it flies the same amount of time but it flies better due to the weight. 👍
You should do a flight time test,, (using the 650ma battery) flying slown a cosy ,,,,most beginners would crash if they did try to fly like you do ;o)

Probably not as it can be EXTREMELY expensive for a person on TH-cam to continously buy products to review.

Excellent video as always. A few questions…. I ve been flying R/C planes and a few helis for just over 30 years. I just recently stepped into the FPV drone arena with the purchase of the Aquila 16. It took a few flights to get accustomed to the headset and nuances of the controller. I think I will outgrow the Aq16 in the next week or two. The questions:
1. Would you consider the Talon a good next step from the Aquila 16 or are they too similar in flight time performance? I would like longer flight time and range with better imaging.
2. As the level of drone goes up , does one have to provide their own transmitter and headset (goggles)? If so, is it possible to have one transmitter to cover multiple aircraft if all are same Tx/Rx protocol?
3. I’ve only ever used Futaba or Airtronics radios to control my various aircraft. I have not seen a new Airtronics Tx in forever but I see Futaba all the time. Is Futaba a relevant controller for drones? Lastly, at what level drone is it possible to start customizing (ie, motor changes, rotor mods,sorry- propellers), etc). Thanks for your time. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Futuba is not popular in the FPV Drone hobby, but Radiomaster and Jumper are as well as TBS Crossfire (Tango II). In the FPV hobby you buy your own goggles and radio, batteries and RC hobby charger. Then you buy FPV drones compatible with your gear. This is why FPV drones come with different camera options and different receiver options.

Yup, Banggood sets the countries. I’ve asked them to add CANADA to the code. If they do, then it will work tomorrow. I honestly have not control over which countries get a discount or by what amount. I simply request a discount for viewers & one is provided.

Hi steve great video, i have a cuestion: 5 blade are more stable than 3 blade??
Nope… no difference in stability. 5 blades are usually placed on motors that can handle them as they require a bit of motor power to spin them up instantly to give thrust.

Hey I’ve been saving up to a dji avata, but I just realized that it’s over 250 g so I’ve been looking, searching for different quad goggles and, a bunch of other thing. Well I came across this vid and I’m very interested in this HGLRC talon but I don’t know what does it mean when it says. Material “ ELRS or crossfire nano” like is it what controller can it connect to, like the radio master pocket.
The FPV hobby is called the Advanced Drone hobby for a reason. It take incredible skill to fly an FPV Drone that has no beginner features, like the AVATA, and worse it takes a massive understanding of how things work together as again, there is no simple beginner system. To gain some knowledge, you could always watch my video series entitled CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS on TH-cam.

No. No FPV Drone does that unless it is a beginner drone with optical flow on the bottom or a DJI drone.
Is it worth waiting for DJI O3 Bnf's?

Hi Steve, I have some quick compatibility questions. Integra goggles I think OK , DJI fpv2 transmitter no go? Not sure if Yellow Jumper 2 is the right protocol maybe with the correct module ? It is pretty dated .Been flying for years but transmitter protocols confuse me.Really like the Talon. Any thoughts? Thanks
Integra goggles will work with the DJI O3. DJI Remote 2 will probably not work because they don’t offer a NO RECEIVER option, and the ELRS RECEIVER is part of the Flight Controller so I’m not exactly sure how to get around that. You could do like me and get the ELRS Radiomaster Pocket.

TX12 will work as long as your TX12 is ELRS 2.4
I have the DJI goggles V2 and the the remote controller 2. is it compatible with this drone?
Only the Goggles. You would need a PNP Version of this drone in order for your remote to be compatible out of the box.

Hey captain drone! I’m just barely getting into “FPV” but I need huge help right now. I’m so bad at figuring out how to charge LiPo batteries. More exact, “2pcs Explorer 900mAh HV 15.2V 80C 4S1P Lipo Battery Pack - XT30” please let me know how to charge these with a hub and what hub to use. And if it isn’t to much to ask, is the DJI FPV control V2 good.
* btw this is for the Cinerace 20 v2. The neon green one.

@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'm a fpv pilot but all my gear is 5 years old. I've been behind on the new fads I figured with new HD cams for analog we could finally record with them now.
@@PhuckenTacozYes, but ANALOG is prehistoric in picture quality so no one records good video with them. Instead they record with an external camera like a 4k or 5k GoPro, or they simply buy a drone with a digital camera.

Ugggg... Banggood sets the countries for the coupon. They often leave out countries like Canada and I never know it until someone tells me. I'll ask them if they can add Canada, but no guarantees.

$400 US is a normal price for a modern FPV drone with a DJI O3 Air unit. FPV Drones are expensive.
