Mimbres Pottery: Making the large open bowl using the slab techniques.

Demonstrating the creation of Mimbres style open bowls using slabs. Two methods are demonstrated for making slabs. Pounding and then rolling a slab. Or throwing, stretching and rolling a slab. Slabs are formed over a wok or a dome of newspaper taped on a round batt. Finally a foot is coil built.
