- Saying goodbye to a long winter, but keeping the memories of the plants in the clay pot surface. The pot is pressed with branches from the forest harvested in the late winter.

I’m an archaeologist and was just curious how cool building method works, your video is so hypnotizing and relaxing. Really amazing work
Pas de musique, pas de paroles… merci pour ça. Et surtout quel magnifique travail. J’étais hypnotisée tout au long de la vidéo. Merci et bravo !
I’ve been building pottery by hand for about a month. I started during a residential treatment for my PTSD. What a wonderful way to work with our hands and build something beautiful. Thank you. My chosen methods at this time are SW American Indian pottery like the Hopi. So I too am using underglaze and now am learning how to make organic and mineral paints. Nest I plan to build fires on the ground to fire wild clay. There is probably 20-30 years of learning ahead and I am planning to teach my grandchildren.
I look forward to more of your videos. You are a skilled artisan.
Thank you for sharing.
@@A.L.75 yep, I belong to Andy’s Ancient Pottery group. We meet via Zoom every Wednesday and he builds something on the list. I asked if he would build a seed pot next year and he put it in his list. Great guy!!!
how is it going sir?

We are in May, and it is cold and windy. Still getting down to 32 degrees Fahrenheit about 3am each morning. Wonderful demo! Mil gracias companero alfarero.

OOOOHHH MAN I just got to the point where you wipe away the black, leaving the embossed design behind - that is SO bad ass!! SO glad I stayed tuned for that!

Lindo trabalho❤
Well done, so much labor but the end product is beautiful. Two questions, one how long did you wait until the bisque fire; secondly, you used something besides the water and oxide, looks like a soapy liquid, I wonder what was it? Thank you. Keep up the great work.
Damn. That's dope.
You are amazing! Loved you work. Make it look so easy. How long have you been doing such beautiful pottery? Thank You for sharing. Definitely want to see more.

Preciosisimo ,aunque requiere mucho trabajo felicidades
Love this video, Thank you
I have to see it all over again and again, because I cannot read so fast and look at the same time what you are doing.
Leaving the text a little bit longer in the screen would help.
Preciosa pieza.
Great video, you just get on with it without talking incessantly all the way through (like most TH-camrs think you have to do). More please!
Здорово!!!🌷🌷🌷
awesome! Thank you for this video. Would you mind sharing where you got the paddle?🙏
Nice work,,what clay do you use?
Only time pass job
Que perfecto que mano 👏
Curious how many pounds of clay did you use here
Good job, is it made of pottery?
such a beautiful pot! And then the stroke and coat?
I noticed that this was constructed over several days. Did you keep it under plastic and spritz it with water?
Amazing work, what's is chemical used on the last video?
Did you end up glazing the inside of the pot? Or is that unusual?
Thanks for asking, it's not shown but the inside is fully glazed. My camera battery died during the glazing shot, and there was no way to reglaze at the time. I'm definitely learning a lot!
❤
what kind of clay do you use?
What kind of black do you use for the glaze please ? Thank you
Bro made my entire senior work for ceramic designer in just 10 mins💀
I want to say the same thing!
Прекрасно
Beautiful piece. How do you ensure the inner walls are properly blended when coiling up smaller and smaller towards the neck?
At that stage I blend with every fresh coil (instead of building up several coils and blending them all at the same time). If the opening is big enough for a few fingers or a long tool then blending is still possible, I hope that helps!
❤👍👏
How many pounds of clay did this take!
What kind of clay did you use? Thx
What's the type of oven do you use?
Pls how can I make this kind of clay? Mine us to break while try to roll it
