I got a question when I pushed the piston. The one of the rubber do not retreat nicely. The piston is good they come all the way in but the rubber partly out. It seem there is air trap. So what should I do ? Do I have to open the bleeding tube let the oil out ? Please give me advise. Thanks.
hi and thanks for sharing, brembo is a great quality they are uv coated which protects against rust and more, AC delco also are great quality, power stop front is also great quality, there are more great quality of pads and rotors but these ones are great, of course the dealer will always be the best.
starter fluid and a very fine rag, I should have shown that on the video but by that time I was starting to make videos and I did not have any experience with the camera, thanks for sharing.
slide pins 25ft-lb, caliper bracket 79ft-lb, brake rubber hose to caliper 22ft-lb. wheel nuts 76ft-lb, 2017 2020 NX300. the 2021 nx300 came out with a huge difference in wheel nuts torque.
Perfect video brother thank you. Just followed the video and did the brakes myself. Lexus wanted over 800 dollars! I did it for 300! Thank you agin

Hi thanks for the great video! Could you possibly recommend a brand of good quality pads and rotors for the NX300?

newbie question: How did you clean the disc surface to make it shine? Do I need specific equipment to make the disc even surface?

Quick question: You don’t need to use the metal end clips on the brake shoes? Doesn’t that make it easier for them to shift?
yes you don't have put them back if you don't want to, there will make no difference.
Do you have to open the break fluid cap to squeeze the breaks to install the new break pads?
Yes open it even though nothing happens if you keep it close during entire process but better to open it
@JM-AUTO ok thank you! 👍

How many miles are on that Lexus ?
55k miles, thanks for sharing.
How about you put in a neutral?
it might help putting it in neutral
Man, using a hammer on sliding pins, are you serious???
might help greasing those lol
Dude did not grease contact points or grease slide pins. Pins were so dry he had to push them in with a hammer. No bueno!
