    Great informative video. Used portable power station to loosen brakes. Removed, then ran ea brake out till boot was smooth. Cleaned, then pushed back in w brake compressor tool. Boot realigned smoothly. Thanks for the info, very helpful.

    Thanks for the video so very helpful, where and how to make that cable going to 12v to the parking brake? Thanks a lot🙏

      regular 12v battery jumper cables so you connect it to the battery of the car, thanks for taking the time to visit this channel.

    Hey there my brother. Thank u for an awesome Vid. I want to ask you about a 2004 Monte Carlo LS. It cranks up but dies in 2 seconds. Any idea to lead me in right direction??

      hi, have checked for codes stored in the PCM? start by scanning it or if there is a scanner with the ability to read live data at the moment of cranking it that can tell you a lot of what is happening, disconnect maf sensor and try to turn it on, if it runs fine then dont look farther, but scanning it or live data is the best way to go. since there are so many things that can cause the engine to turn on only for few seconds.

    On the passenger side the rear wheel, which one is positive and which one is negative? Is it same in your video?

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  ปีที่แล้ว

      it is the opposite but in case if you apply 12v on the wrong side, be ready to take off one wire immediately so it will stop turning because if the piston comes out too much then you will damage it, also be ready to take off one wire from the connector when the piston has reached all the way inside exactly on the same edge of the piston so brake pads will not interfere with brake pads.

    What did you use to supply the motor the 12 volts

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I used the battery from the car.

    Can I use an 18 volt battery to reset the brake piston, as in this case?

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would not suggest you to use a 18v battery since the system is designed for 12v, you also can try to desingage using the screen inside your vehicle.

      @JM-AUTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it is the same just to make sure always put connect one wire and the just touch the other pin with ther wire and be ready to disconnect it in case it is coming out

    Hey why didn’t you just do the brake release procedure to loosen the rear brakes off?

    • @JM-AUTO

    Are the 12 volts coming from a battery?

    • @JM-AUTO
      @JM-AUTO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I didn't know this and i accident let the electric break running and push the piston all the way out. I put it back in and install new pad. But now display show that ( electric break mulfuntion) and the electric break button doesn't work anymore. Can you please show me how to fix that problem. Thank you

      sorry for the delay but i was out of State, when the EPB malfunction apears n you follow the steps to reset it n it does not work then a good scanner is needed so the scanner can give you clues of what caused the issue or even reset it, ( Switch the ignition to the ON position and shift the gear lever in PARK. ...
      Pull and release the EPB button to activate the electric parking brake.
      Pull and hold the EPB button until you hear a mechanical sound, then release the button). if it doesnt work then it is best to go to the dealer.

      @@HungLe-ek4zj You probably need to clear the memory of the brake system. That will reset the parking brake errors and you can proceed with your next step, whether it be replacing the pads or ready to drive. See this link:www.clublexus.com/forums/attachments/nx-1st-gen-2015-2021/480837d1598308629-how-to-manually-release-parking-brake-when-battery-is-dead-nx300-manual-parking-brake-release.docx. I found that in the ClubLexus forums : www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-1st-gen-2015-2021/950980-how-to-manually-release-parking-brake-when-battery-is-dead.html. Helped me out with my issue and now brakes are released and pads are ready to install. Good Luck!
