You need to mix it up a bit with the interactions between sims. A sim gets bored real quick if you use the same action several times in a row. Just a little tip :)
The Sims get bored when you talk about the same thing too many times in a row, pretty sure it happens in all of them. Try rotating options, like Talk then Ask then Talk etc.
I remember making a familie called 'friend', with four people who just existed to become friends with our man so that his wife could get to the top of her carreer xD
when you call a cab to go somewhere (anywhere really) the times stops at home. So you may go out in the evening, socialize for a few hours and come back and it's still evening at your house. This way you can easily gain more friends without wasting that day (skipping work..) Also you should try to take a man to a date. He does have to be in a good mood as well to enable flirts ;) Love your vids btw
I know its farrrr too late to say as this was done 3 years ago but its so annoying so im gonna say it anyway! Everytime you multiple click at once the chatting option it doesnt do it. you literally have to line it up one at a time for it to work. you may have figured it out in a future episode i dunno i will soon find out but i hope you did because its driving me batty haha x
I get super frustrated with some things as well haha Like this episode and the one before this he never gives his guests food or toilet time. Which means they won't be as likely to accept things like kisses cause they don't feel well. But giving tips has no use if he doesn't play the game anymore... HEY JAMES GO PLAY THE SIMS :P
...I have not seen any of the previous videos ( :P I gotta stop watching Fallout New Vegas videos) But I liked this one, funny enough, before I even realized that the Sims 1 videos existed, I found a copy of the Sims Deluxe for 99 cents! It was just like when I found GTA 3,Vice City, and San Andreas all for the same price, and then with RCT1, both Gold Edition and the standalone version, with Zoo Tycoon 1, all of the 99 cents. I love thrift stores.
This makes me so sad! I've been wanting to play The Sims Complete Collection but Mac is stupid and doesn't run PowerPc apps anymore with Mountain Lion fml
Maybe try a bathtub for comfort-it works in the sims 2 anyway. Also she really needs a boyfriend-husband. Hope your game unfroze, I always save often because you never know with Sims games, be it 1,2 or 3!
The Sims 2 never froze with me, be it on PS2 or Nintendo DS (But that version was horrible, and had a set storyline.) But then again, console games don't freeze unless you mishandle the disc, or you have a broken console.
BlazinVoid The console versions are also much simpler and usually less fun. the sims 2 for ps2 was fun, Bustin' out was amazing! and DS version wasn't bad, it just didn't feel like a sims game at all

It’s so much easier in this game once you make friends to just throw parties and they will come over, along with random people you don’t know at all.

Oh my gosh, that was my tactic when I was a kid too! Worked every time ;)
Try inviting friends over when she returns home from work, she can eat and watch tv with her friends and then kick them out to build her skills.

BlazinVoid I've had Sims 2 crash and Sims 3 freeze. never played console.
Jossy Smith My Sims 3 w/ Late Night freezes, and crashed when exiting.

If you're really trying to get more money just fire the maid. Paying that much money just for her to to clean a few things isn't worth it.
