1.feel of the abdomen (muscle guarding )

1.liver palpation
2.spleen palpation
3.kidney palpation
Percussion
1.tympanitic is normal sound due to hollowness of intestines,stomach
2.dullness indicates fluid accumulation and look for ascites
3.liver dullness on rt side-6,8,10 ics
On left side-8,10,12 ics(horse shoe shaped dullness)
4.fluid thrill
Auscultation-look for gurgling sounds

3.midinguinal line.
4.contour - distended (pregnancy, acitis, fat, obstruction.
Retracted (weight loss)
5.surface - in obstruction vein can be seen.
6.pigmentetion ( pregnancy)
7.umbillicus ( in acitis everted)
8.hernial sites ( coughing - swelling occur in inguinal region)
8.pulsation ( normal -no pulsation)
9.respiratory movement
10.palpation - knee Semiflexed.
