      I feel super bad aswell. This guy has a story of struggle that has led to this point with all the wrong choices he made under tough times. It sucks but life is sad like this.

    so refreshing to see and hear a Dr. that uses real skill on the human body instead of initially sending us of for countless often needless expensive mechanical testing that is not always accurate and may miss vital information. Being aware of physical and emotional cues from the patient can go along way in the diagnosis. Thank=you both/all so much for this video.

      It is the equivalent of having a pregnant belly - very uncomfortable.
      They can drain most of the fluid out, although it returns.

    My niece abused alcohol. Now in hospital orange, swelled and can't find where she's bleeding.. I feel so helpless 😣

      How is your neice now? Hope they found the source of bleed. Was it due to Esophageal varices or was it Mallery weis tears. Praying for you.

    What an amazing way of learning. You are blessed. You have mastered the art of percussion.
    One thing that I would also add would be Pruritis and scratch/bruise marks. You did mention systemic anastomosia but as medical students , they expect us to say Caput Medusa etc
    But very informative. Thank you Dr. Sab . This was a treat to watch. Patient didn't look too good but you treated him with respect and were gentle.

      It's sad but, the patient already malnourished and oedema is advanced, that's the stage it's hard, coz process will be very complicated like you have to take patient to kidney specialist, most patient requires dialysis, donate blood etc

    thank you for this great demonstration but I'd like to suggest doing auscultation prior to palpation and percussion because it will alter the result of auscultation. in examining the abdomen, auscultation should be done before percussion and palpation.

    Thumb has its own pulse...then shouldnt we use fingers to count pulse whether carotid or radial etc

      Yes thats called paracentesis, but typically patients will be given diuretics to help drain the fluid.

    One should stop consuming Alcohol. We need to create awareness.

      Not just alcohol, but an excess of sugar in any form. Cirrhosis can be non-alcoholic.
      Livers can regenerate, but do doctors communicate to patients what they need to do to help the liver regenerate?

    Thank you for the Informative video. I have a question - why is it recommended to check the pulse with the thumb? I thought our thumb itself has a pulse and it will make it harder to count the pulse accurately.
