Thank you for posting this. No one ever taught me how to take care of my beard. It didn't start growing until I was in my late 20s. No Barber I've ever had is actually taking the time to do any of these things they just pretty much light it up brush it down and send me on my way. But my beard has always look stringy and patchy and dry. Now I see all it takes is a little maintenance I can cover up the tiny patches and actually make it look thick and full so I really appreciate you posting.
Finally! I found a quality tutorial on managing a beard such as yours. I'm a white man, but i've been looking for a black man who can guide me in the right direction for such a beard. It's a blessing and a curse. It needs so much love and care to not look like a rats nest. My beard is exactly like yours, only brown with a touch of red
I must say this technique changes everything about my beard , I couldn’t get my middle to hang low the life of me . I used your technique and it makes my beard look super full and long . Appreciate you man !!

Good question. Beard oil is a must. In the video I did mention in a quick caption to apply oil first. I just left that part out.
