This lesson was so well presented. I will practice, practice, practice. I have found that ikebana takes unexpected expertise to perfect it. This arrangement is beautiful and I will try to source some flowers here in Hawaii and implement your instruction. THANK YOU!
I enjoyed this lesson, especially the mathematics of creating balance. I, also,, liked showing the front view and side view to see that the arrangement looked charming from all sides. Thank you for this tutorial.
Please I did not get how to determine the length of the very first Cornus Sibirica branch. and cut it to the adequate length before inserting it on the kensan. Thank you otherwise for this great and interesting first lesson. It took a course in Ikebana many years ago. and. your approach today has given me a renewed interest to give it a go again. @@ikebana.master Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question ! I appreciate every one of your teachings a lot, they are such a great help to practicing and putting all requested elements together in the best possible manner; and I enjoy the Japanese environment too, clean lines, every detail carefully chosen, the accessories, vases, etc.. I can travel far away thanks to your channel !, arigato gosaimazu. Greetings from Belgium. 🌟 🍃

How long do the plants and flowers last?
It depends on the time of year, but it lasts about 10 days!
What is the purpose of cutting the stem under the water in the small bowl?
It’s said to help the flowers to suck up water better.
Is it inappropriate to use dried or artificial flower?
In principle, we use fresh flowers, however, we use those flowers depending on occasions.
