I love what you are doing! I too am a "beaver believer". Before the invasion of North America by the Europeans, as much as ten percent of the land was covered in beaver created wetlands. After the invasion, nearly all the beavers were trapped and killed and the wetlands destroyed. Billions of animals, birds, and insects disappeared. The beavers are the key to a healthy environment. We need them desperately. I wish you great success in protecting your beavers!
Thank you very much for the comment. I get seriously ticked off at those people who just don't get it. They call the beaver a nuisance animal, yet they love to paddle the water ways these fury little people create. The habitat loss is the greatest worry as there are a myriad of animals dependent upon the dam builders. Thanks for caring about the wilderness and all it's denizens.
