📝Basic information:
About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Beaver dams are like speed bumps in the streams and help slow down the water as it moves through a system. Slower water means less erosion and in some cases less flooding from storms. Ponds also absorb some of the water even if they already appear full, so the volume of water also decreases through a beaver system.

That was awesome,..I think it was one of the best ,..I wondered if you lost your potato rake when it collapsed,..you put a lot of work into this one,..and there were so many sticks and mud,..great job,..oh I see you rake didn't get lost,..great,..
The deepth of a cut is more important than the width of the breach. Use the volume of the water going through a cut to move the mud away.
A cut one foot wide and four feet deep will lower the water better than a cut one food deep and four feet wide.
Thank you for removing the whole dam and not making a little stream for the water levels to fall. Great job.

I love the ones that have only you and the sound of the water. I understand that it is safer to have someone with you but I don't understand a word of Polnish so anything interesting you maybe saying is just noise to me. Great video! many thanks for showing us your work.
